Whatever is the nature of all things, this single characteristic, that is, the absence of characteristics, should be known as the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha. Thus it is. The third has four: the actual meaning, the definitive word, the way to obtain it, and whether the three characteristics are different or not. The first is: the Svabhavikakaya of the Buddha, the Bhagavan, is this, thus connecting the words. What is it? One's own nature, which is also the nature of unborn and free from elaboration. What is the nature of what kind of characteristic? The nature of the wisdom of the uncontaminated mindfulness and so on that will be explained, the stains of the two obscurations, completely purified in all ways, and become the nature of emptiness of self. That is, the wisdom of whatever is pure by nature. The reason for being uncontaminated is: it is the Dharmadhatu that transcends the world, that is, the nature of non-dual wisdom like illusion. In the commentary, it says: Whatever is the special nature of the special characteristics, that is said to be the Svabhava, the characteristics are the mindfulness of the Buddha's ground, etc., the characteristics are the ultimate truth, and there is no object of mind in it, let alone letters. Thus it is said. Therefore, whether the Tathagatagarbha is pure or not is established only by the power of the characteristic. It is also said that the characteristic and the characteristic cannot be said to be one or different, which has the same meaning as the former. The second is: Why is it called Svabhavikakaya? Because it is not newly created by causes and conditions. The Root Wisdom Treatise says: Self-nature is not artificial, it does not depend on others. Like that. That treatise is connected like this: As it says in the Sunlight: By the meaning of non-artificial, it should be known that it is the Svabhavikakaya of the Bhagavan. The so-called self-nature is non-artificial, which is well known in the world. The path that transcends the world is the one who obtains it, not the doer. Thus it is said, and it is also quoted here. The latter scripture, for the reason that it has not been clarified, establishes it as non-artificial, and the world and so on are also explained as definitive words.

Now it is also prevented. Third, bodhisattvas attain through the path of transcendence, without seeing any elaborations, through the door of realization, not newly made or created. Because it is not so, all phenomena are known as illusory, that is, with non-dual wisdom, realizing that they are free from all elaborations, it is established that they are attained only by this. This is in accordance with the Ornament of Realization. Among them, the former shows attainment, and the latter shows the manner of attainment. In the Ornament of Realization, this later text is also made at the time of the fruit. In the Clear Words, uncorrected nature and co-emergence are synonyms. Therefore, the nature of phenomena is so, not made by anyone, so the path of transcendence, the wisdom of the samadhi of Joyful and so on, the flow of mind is also not there, that is, attainment, because it is inseparable from it, so in its subsequent attainment, it is also not separated from the attraction of samadhi, so it is called attainment. Showing that attainment is to say that the consciousness of hearing, thinking, and meditating, although not ultimately existent, does not abandon its function in the conventional, like illusion, all phenomena do not transcend the dharma realm, so realizing the dharma realm, being inseparable from it becomes attainment. Although it is explained in this way, it is not reasonable because there is no attainment of Buddhahood on the path of learning. Fourth, are the remaining three bodies that will be spoken of different from or not different from the nature body? The remaining three bodies are not different from the nature body, but are established as different in name. The reason for being non-different is that the scripture says: Emptiness is called consciousness, there is nothing else besides, because emptiness is empty, it is considered to be non-different. If it is not so, then both are empty, it will become non-consciousness, and returning from non-duality, it will become the self of both. That becomes suchness, self-nature, which is said to be the Bhagavan himself. Knowable, knowable things, truly rely on consciousness. Because of this. This scripture directly shows that the other-powered consciousness and the perfectly established emptiness are not different, but the first body and the remaining three bodies are also of the same kind, so it should be known.
