Because it is not understood as an obstacle. This Mother (referring to the Prajñāpāramitā) will not be cut off or taken away by demons or gods of the demon class, beings of the Śrāvakayāna and Pratyekabuddhayāna, or even other heretics and evil friends. Thus it is said. Regarding the four truths such as suffering, because its non-elaborate nature is not understood, one clings to impermanence, etc., as if they were literal meanings, thinking that things themselves are like that. Therefore, by studying the meaning of this profound Great Prajñā Mother, one should practice the meaning of impermanence, and similarly, one should also practice the meaning of suffering, selflessness, and understanding suffering. This is the object of establishing truth. Regarding the nature of afflictions, because one does not understand that the nature of desire, etc., is merely a false thing caused by inverted clinging. One should not analyze whether desire, hatred, and ignorance are related to me or not. Regarding the non-duality of form, because one does not understand that the characteristics of form are merely conceptually constructed. Can one obtain the non-dual Dharma? The Blessed One replied: No. Second, as with the previous instruction on the path of seeing, it is also because one clings to the nine objects as sentient beings, and thinks that gathering is the reason for establishing them as sentient beings, therefore one clings to the fabricated thing, thinking that it is the author of clinging to self, thereby mistakenly thinking that it is merely fabricated. This is also divided into two types as before. Third, as mentioned before, it is called the path of cultivation, etc. Third, it directly shows that the opposites of the peak of the path of cultivation, that is, the four types of things to be abandoned by cultivation, are to be abandoned, therefore it should be understood that through the classification of what is to be abandoned, the antidotal peak of cultivation is also divided into four types. The third is the third part of explaining the combination of the peak of the path of cultivation, that is, explaining the qualities of the basis. The third part is divided into three parts. The first part, as with the previous instruction on the path of seeing, eliminates the one hundred and eight causes of the manifestation of the conceptual thoughts to be abandoned by cultivation, and at the same time eliminates the one hundred and eight latent tendencies of afflictions collected by these conceptual thoughts. By the power of this, all kinds of perfect qualities of the three vehicles rely on the Bodhisattva who abides on the Bodhisattva's path of cultivation. This is said through two indirect phrases. The second is

The term "fruit" summarizes what is contained in two lines, and "all forms" etc., summarizes what is relied upon in two lines, and the term "ocean" is used as a metaphor for it. The first line explains the reason for being able to serve as a basis, and the second line illustrates the metaphor for the reason. For example, if someone wants to grow a sapling, but that person does not notice the root of the sapling, nor the branches, trunk, leaves, flowers, and fruits, but cultivates the trunk of the sapling and waters it from time to time, then that trunk will gradually become lush with branches. Similarly, combining leaves, flowers, and fruits, just as using the sapling's shoots, flowers, and fruits, the great Bodhisattvas also correctly enter into unsurpassed perfect enlightenment for the sake of sentient beings. They gradually practice the six perfections and attain omniscience, and like leaves, flowers, and fruits, they enable all sentient beings to draw near and survive. Like this. Among them, leaves symbolize liberating sentient beings from the lower realms, flowers symbolize rebirth as gods and humans, and fruits symbolize attaining the five fruits and omniscience, as stated in the sutras. The third is: as a basis. Where? In the place adorned by those Bodhisattvas who abide in the path of meditation and have attained the ultimate of the most excellent fruit. Where is the fruit? The Prajnaloka says, "The fruit of perfecting the path of meditation is truly adorned," which is an explanation of the great path of meditation. The Nyi Nang says, "The fruit is heavy, proud of its excellent fruit," just as other trees are heavy with the burden of fruits to be enjoyed, the Bodhisattva is also proud of being able to give the five fruits as sustenance to sentient beings. Where? In all times, in the complete qualities that are skilled in generating happiness, higher realms, and definite goodness for beings, and in all that is encompassed by the three vehicles. Where does the cause of generating happiness for beings arise? In the great compassion without object, dominated by altruism. How can all qualities manifest without great effort? In a natural way. What is the example? Just like the great ocean with salty taste, into which four rivers flow with their respective retinues.
