If someone asks, since the Ornament of Clear Realization, the Uttaratantra, and many other scriptures say this, is there no contradiction? There is no contradiction. Because their view is to combine the basis and the dependent of qualities and establish them as that body, and among them, powers etc. are the Dharmakaya, and marks and signs etc. are the main qualities of the Rupakaya, and there is no difference in the basis of the first quality, so it is one body; the second basis of abiding, there are two, the Sambhogakaya and the Nirmanakaya, so they are established as two bodies. As the Uttaratantra says: "The first body has powers, and is endowed with all the qualities of separation. The second is the marks of a great person, and is endowed with all the qualities of maturation." Like this. Here, establishing as four bodies is done from the perspective of whether that body is that body or not. Therefore, Vasubandhu also established three bodies, and divided the Dharmakaya into two, conditioned and unconditioned. If those two do not need to be established as the Sambhogakaya and the Nirmanakaya, then the two themselves are also contradictory to each other, so they must each be established as one body. If those two are summarized as the Dharmakaya, although it is three bodies, if separated it is four bodies, so the teacher also thinks this way. Abhaya took the view of that scripture, but it seems that not even a sesame seed of deviation occurred. In general, in the realm of the Buddha, if one does not acknowledge the individual differences of phenomena and entities, and the characteristics of abandonment and realization, then the differences of the three bodies must also be abandoned. If one acknowledges them, then following in the footsteps of the great chariot of Good is reasonable. It has been explained very thoroughly, enough. The second is the second part about the agent body, which is explaining the nature of the body. The second part is divided into two: body and wisdom. The first part is divided into four: Svabhavikakaya, wisdom, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. The first is, as the Uttaratantra says: "The Dharmakaya of those Buddhas has five characteristics. In short, it should be known to have five qualities." Like this. Unconditioned and without distinction, abandoning the two extremes, from the three obscurations of affliction, knowable, and absorption, it is certainly liberated, stainless and non-conceptual, it is the object of yogis, because it is pure by the nature of the Dharmadhatu, it is luminous. That is to say, it is separated from the three of birth, destruction, and abiding, it is inseparable from the qualities of merit, without the two of grasper and grasped, and temporary
