Meaning. Explaining in connection with many treatises of noble and wise ones, this discourse that makes the mind clear and pleasing, whose wisdom is it if not mine? Therefore, I think there is no fault in this, but for the wisdom of those with unobstructed vision, because I measure with the thoughts of a small child, I confess any errors to the victors and those wiser than myself. Abandoned by companions of diligent wisdom, and lacking the wealth of diligence and wisdom, and not seeing the ocean of self and other schools, if the self-proclaimed wise one slanders, it is only in vain. It is false that the primordial ancestor of the world manipulates the entire world at will. If this is true, why is there no commentary that can match this kind of discourse? All those who are not weak in their ability to reason, and who have overcome the opportunity of laziness with effort, from the bottom of their hearts, like the victorious mother, are proficient in the scriptures, and those who wish to understand can enter this discourse. By striving in this way, may my merit, like the peak of a snow mountain where moonlight falls, may all sentient beings who have lost their way enter this excellent path of the victors. May I also never be separated from this excellent path, and may the two, body and mind, of the good friend who has been with me for a long time, when they are separated by the evil lord of death, be displeased with this, but also rejoice, and in that moment, may the young mind enjoy the youth of wishes and discipline, and arrive before the victorious Maitreya, and may the nectar of his words satisfy my ears. By stirring the ocean of scriptures and commentaries with much learning and the power of all-pervading, may the part of the well-spoken that is completely produced, and this lotus stamen that clarifies hundreds of thousands of difficult points, shine on the crowns of countless beings to be tamed. May it not fall from the path of the gods to the sun and moon, may the king of mountains not be freed from under the water treasure. May it abide here in this way, becoming the king of freedom that fulfills the wishes of those who seek the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. He possesses profound and limitless, immaculate wisdom, capable of dissecting the scriptures of the departed and their commentaries as they are, without relying on others, possessing unparalleled intellectual courage, and endowed with impartial great compassion. He nourished the body of wisdom with the nectar of the teachings of the glorious Sakya Pandita the Great Kumārarāmata, and even though he has crossed the ocean of self and other sectarian views, he is not arrogant and perfectly abides in the asceticism of the Able One. Born on the edge of the snowy land, the glory of the greatly learned Shar Tsongkhapa Lobsang Drakpa, for those who are intelligent and eager for truth, and who have been long prayed for by many spiritual friends, in the great monastery where the translation of the scriptures of the departed was completed, it was almost completed in Tselyang Monastery (Tsaigungtang Monastery). In the great Dharma College of Dewachen (Sukhavati), where wise and accomplished beings have continuously emerged, the final compilation was completed in the Sonam month (Good Month, Tibetan April) of the Rabjung year (cycle). The scribe is Shar Domaypa Dongton Jnanashri, who understands this good path and has gained faith. May this also benefit the precious Dharma. Mangalam! The profound intention of the Victorious Ones, the meaning of the Mother Sutra, is the fruit of Jambudvipa. The profound and vast commentary, is the essence flowing into the ocean. With the light of scripture and reason, bestowing countless benefits, it is a golden chain, the supreme ornament of the intelligent. May the white umbrella of the Gelug teachings of Lobsang spread throughout the sky. May the wise and accomplished masters who raise it, the sun of wisdom and compassion. With the merits accumulated from endless Dharma giving, may the heart of the teachings of the Able One, the excellent tradition of the Gelugpa, flourish. May the holders of the teachings be stable, and may the incarnations of the Protector be continuous. May the exposition and practice of Sutra and Tantra be propagated and magnified through teaching, debate, writing, and virtuous conduct, unparalleled. May the miraculous activities open the door to five incarnations. May the medicine that alleviates the suffering of the three realms. May the auspicious sounds that bring benefit and happiness to all without bias, be constantly proclaimed. Svasti!
