This is because all the coarse marks of paternal error have been completely abandoned, that is, they have been separated. In the Commentary on the Words, it says: Just as a person with pure eyes can see jewels and other things at the same time, and at that time they are not harmed and feel beneficial, so in the realm of what is seen, all mundane things appear as clearly as fruit placed in the palm of the hand, and they are not harmed by them, but are beneficial for increasing the Dharma of the Buddhas, so the object is pure and pleasing, like examples and illusions. Although all mundane things appear unmixed like lotus petals, it is inappropriate to explain the latter as an example of non-discrimination, because it is as good as being difficult to understand. The Lamas say in the Lankavatara Sutra: Relying on the Mind-Only, one does not discriminate against external objects. Likewise, from the object of Suchness, one must also return from Mind-Only. After returning from Mind-Only, one must also return from Non-Appearance. The yogi who abides in Non-Appearance, he sees the Great Vehicle. Following these words, in the state of Mind-Only, Suchness, and the yoga of abiding in Non-Appearance, in the former case, it is not very appropriate to say that by view all dharmas are determined as Mind-Only, because the one who determines is the Madhyamaka, so he determines all dharmas as free from elaboration by view. The second is the second part of explaining the meaning of the words, explaining the part where the views of the realists cannot completely eliminate the obscurations. The second part is divided into two parts. First is the statement of commitment: If the grasped and the grasper and self-awareness are not empty in nature, but are truly existent. That is, the realists believe that the defilements of mind and mental factors and the Vijnanavadins believe that these are other-dependent truths, so they believe that they are established in the ultimate sense. Refuting this: Then, for defilements such as attachment, even if one practices their respective antidotes, there will be no harm at all, because they exist in the ultimate sense, therefore. Just as there is no harm to the sky, this is an example of an extreme position. If the nature of knowing momentary dharmas, and the self-awareness of knowing only the two graspers and the characteristics of the knowable, that is, the grasped objects, exist in the ultimate sense, then one must maintain its nature that cannot be increased by production or decreased by elimination, therefore the pervasion is established.

Po. Like the sky holding the nature of the intangible object of touch that is merely non-existent. Just as there is no increase or decrease in dwelling there, this is an example of the sign establishing pervasion. Furthermore, for those who have determined that the object of grasping, the grasper, and self-awareness are unreal, but do not wish to abandon attachment to them, their afflictive obscurations of attachment to them should not be abandoned, because those objects are established as ultimately true. As stated in the Pramāṇavārttika: "If this object is not refuted, then it is not possible to abandon it." Such an obstacle should also be established. Generating the realization that the object of grasping, the grasper, etc., are unreal, and abandoning the mind of clinging to reality will not be possible, because it is truly established. For example, just as it is impossible to generate the realization that the sky, which abides as unreal, is real, and to prevent the mind from clinging to the unreal. If you accept, then that clinging to reality will not be harmed, like the sky, it can also be said. The second is the second explained in detail by the external commentary, which is the actual explanation of contradictory commitments. The second is, whatever the Bhagavan has abandoned all kinds of afflictive obscurations, and the phenomena of the object of grasping, the grasper, and self-awareness, also acknowledges as existing in ultimate truth, to that, I, Maitreya, consider it wonderful. The reason is, because of promising and vowing mutually contradictory meanings. As established by other realists, the reversed conceptualizations that cling to phenomena, because they are irreversible, cannot be abandoned. The sign is established, if the defiled phenomena are established in ultimate truth, then they cannot be abandoned, or if the object is truly established, then clinging to reality cannot be abandoned, for that reason. The second is the second of refuting the great enlightenment established by conceptualization, which is the explanation of the part of establishing the tenets of emptiness. The second has three, the first of which is, after excluding the proponents who desire the existence of the object of grasping, the grasper, etc., below that, those who desire liberation and complete enlightenment should only commit to this tenet that explains all things as devoid of inherent existence, thus the tenet that abides through intervening words, which is the tenet determined by scripture and reasoning, has been proclaimed, the necessity is, to stabilize the proponents who desire all phenomena to be devoid of self-nature.
