Therefore, it manifests the completion of the transformation of the ground. It is also explained as: because it is the main one, and because it is located at the boundary of the realm and the ground. Why are three liberations established on the path of transformation? If one does not observe the size and good and bad without certainty, one cannot transform from other aspects, therefore the first two; even if one obtains uncertain faith in these, if one cannot prevent clinging to the extreme of good and bad, one does not want to transform the bad, and if one does not transform the bad, the transformation is not complete, therefore one must cultivate the third. The third is the third explained separately, that is, explaining the aspect of the five paths of dwelling in bliss in the present dharma. In what does one enter into samadhi? In the dharma of seeing, dwelling in bliss in this life, that is, the path that benefits body and mind has five aspects. The reason is: four formless liberations and one cessation liberation, that's how it is. What are these? There are two of these: first, liberation nirvana, and the nature of the path that abides in accordance with the severance of manifest perfections, there are four actualities of formless samadhi, this is formless liberation. That is, it is cultivated in order to cut off the desire to taste flavors in the formless realm. Second, for the nature of the path in which attachment and so on, or mind and mental factors, are pacified and abide, because it is the main object to be abandoned, there is one liberation of cessation of perception and feeling. This is manifested in order to be liberated from the obscuration of cessation of perception and feeling. What is the difference between the four formless samadhis and the cessation samadhi and liberation? Samadhi is when the great elements of the body or the objects of mind and mental factors are made equal, and liberation is established from the aspect of being liberated from the perfections of one's own realm and not mixing with it. The Kosha says: The meaning of liberation is turning away from the lower ground, therefore the near attainment and the uninterrupted path are not liberation, but the path of liberation, and it is also considered near attainment. Thus, the first three arise for the sake of others, and the latter five are actions for the sake of others, liberation of dwelling in bliss for the sake of seeing the meaning for oneself, there are eight in total. The fourth is the fourth explained separately, that is, the world.
