My body is the five internal tangible faculties. It is inconsistent with the summary made by the great destroyer and the peaceful one on the six faculties. The external body is not the support of the faculties, but the five objects such as form and sound. The body of both internal and external is the outer source of tangible form that serves as the support of one's own faculties and the five faculties of others' continuums. Feeling is pleasure, pain, and equanimity. Mind is the aggregate of consciousness. Dharma is all mental factors other than feeling, as well as non-associated formations and unconditioned phenomena. The last three, including the inner three, arise in dependence on the three bodies in sequence, or by focusing on those three. Those four are also regarded by children in sequence as objects of conception as my support, the basis of my enjoyment, my essence, and the basis for my transformation into complete purity. The second is, through the self-characteristics and general characteristics of the four, such as the body, that is, through that path, to be completely analyzed. That is also, lineage, giving, characteristics, the desire for those two to be able to function and not be able to function, is explained from logic, but it is not the occasion to discuss it here. In the Treasury of Knowledge it says: Body, feeling, mind, and dharmas, are completely analyzed with two characteristics. In the self-commentary there it says: Their self-characteristic is their own nature. The general characteristic is that conditioned phenomena are all impermanent, contaminated phenomena are all suffering, and all phenomena are emptiness and selflessness. In accordance with this, their self-characteristic is also that the body is of arising, abiding, and ceasing, feeling is of experiencing, mind is of focusing, and for dharma, whatever the nature of mental factors and so on is, it is said to look there. Furthermore, what is said from observing the body in the body to observing the dharma in the dharma is that observing the body and so on is called observing after the body and so on, is a collection of words in the seventh case, and the way of observing is also that in the image of conceptualization, the corpse swelling, being eaten by insects, etc. appear in the mind, and the body of nature, one's own body that has not died, has such a dharma, has such a nature, does not go beyond such a characteristic, that is, to observe with impurity and equality, these three words are related to the three bodies of the past, future, and present. All feelings are painful, all minds are

The support and the object are different, Because different things arise from different things, it is impermanent, and the dharmas are merely completely purified from self, thus meditating. That is a common meditation, but the uncommon meditation has three distinctions: object, attention, and attainment. First, Hearers and Solitary Realizers only focus on their own body, etc., while Bodhisattvas focus on both themselves and others. Second, Hearers and Solitary Realizers pay attention to impermanence, etc., while Bodhisattvas meditate without focusing on the characteristics of the Dharma. Third, Hearers and Solitary Realizers meditate only to be separated from the contaminated body, etc., while Bodhisattvas do not meditate for the sake of either separation or non-separation, but to achieve non-abiding Nirvana. Third, as stated in the Compendium of Topics, "What is the essence? It is wisdom and mindfulness," like that, distinguishing the self-characteristics and general characteristics of the body, etc., and holding them without forgetting as if separating them. As stated in the Treasury of Knowledge, "Mindfulness is close placement, is wisdom," that is also saying the main part. Fourth, one meditates in order to engage in the practice of knowing, abandoning, and realizing the four truths. In this way, body mindfulness is knowing that the contaminated body is the nature of suffering of bad rebirth, feeling mindfulness is knowing that pleasant and unpleasant feelings are the cause of attachment to non-separation or separation, understanding from the perspective of the result that attachment is the main cause of arising, and thus abandoning it, mind mindfulness is examining the mind, which is the basis of self-grasping, as impermanent, etc., thereby reversing attachment to it. In this way, since there is no fear of the self being cut off, one is not afraid of realizing cessation, and Dharma mindfulness is knowing that all contaminated dharmas are unfavorable and that pure dharmas are their antidotes, thereby knowing that it itself is the means of reversing harm and generating it. In this way, one enters the four truths. As stated in the Middle Extremes, "For the cause of bad rebirth, for the cause of attachment, for the cause of the basis, and for the cause of non-ignorance, one meditates on the four mindfulnesses to enter the four truths." And, as stated in the Treasury of Knowledge, "They are the four antidotes to perversion," like that, abandoning the four perversions of grasping at purity, pleasure, permanence, and self, and for the sake of grasping at the four contaminated bodies, etc., or attaining separation from those four. Why are these four called mindfulnesses?
