Since one does not engage in evil deeds, one's life is pure, and one does not commit violent acts or dominate women with an afflicted mind, therefore, one's body is pure. One does not say that engaging in sexual acts will produce a boy or a girl, therefore, one's speech is pure. Furthermore, the opposite of pure living, such as hypocrisy, etc., are fivefold, as stated in the Ratnavali: 'For the sake of gain and honor, one pretends to control the senses. For the sake of gain and honor, one speaks softly beforehand. To obtain what is to be gained, one praises the possessions of others. To obtain gain, one openly slanders others. Wanting to obtain gain with gain, one praises what was previously obtained.' Thus it is. Thirdly, the aspects of realizing the truth of cessation are fourfold. What are they? In the forbearance of dharma in cessation, regarding the aggregates, elements, sense bases, and dependent origination, the abiding in the initial attachment of combination and the abiding in the subsequent attachment of constant attachment, the aggregates, etc., are individually blocked, and abiding in the realization of emptiness, one does not see any dharma as inferior or superior, and that is it. The meaning of blocking abiding is that one should not engage in combination and subsequent combination with them, that is, one should not be attached to those two, and thus, by focusing the mind in this way, one blocks attachment, that is, one does not abide in the combination and subsequent combination of the aggregates, as before with the elements, sense bases, and limbs of dependent origination. Why is that? Because one abides in emptiness in this way, and does not subsequently see any dharma as inferior or superior. Thus it is. Here, showing attachment and blocking abiding is superior to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and with combination and subsequent combination, the path of seeing is that the one who sees the path previously blocks suffering and accumulation and later engages in cessation and the path. By knowing emptiness without inferiority or superiority without inversion, it is said by the reason of blocking abiding. This saying is a translation or the words are incorrect. In the Pramanavarttika, when this is established, it is reasonable because of the non-inverted consciousness. Because the inverted aggregates, etc., do not abide as the cause of blocking abiding. Shantideva said: Combination is quiescence, following

It is said that "reversing is by higher seeing." The word "etc." in the root text "aggregates etc." is explained from within as elements, births, and dependent origination, as explained in other commentaries. For those who create obstacles, and for the sangha and自在(Tibetan: dbang, Devanagari: svāmin, Romanization: svamin, Meaning: master) etc., the three wars, that is, for each of the four, the word "and" etc. is added and explained. This also summarizes the seven things spoken of in the sutras as thief, army, war or battle, village, city, town, and self. The opposing side that creates obstacles is stealing the wealth of virtue, and the sangha or army of giving etc. is numerous and destroys enemies, so in order they are the same as thief and army and dharma. That side of the antidote harms what is to be abandoned, which is shown by war or battle. By waging war, in the state of abandoning what is to be abandoned, the four kinds of maturation are prevented, that is, preventing attachment to the senses, the basis of the senses, the objects of the senses, and the self. This is shown by villages etc., and the similarity of the dharma will be explained later. Therefore, although the sutras speak of thieves etc. in summary, in the treatises, the meaning of the sutras is explained by "those who create obstacles" etc. In the chapter on subsequent wisdom, although the sutras speak of five points, the sutra commentaries apply them to one moment of the path of seeing. For the knowledge of dharma of cessation, it is an obstacle to the realization of the path of seeing, like the words of those who steal virtue like thieves, first attaching to whether or not virtue is stolen, and combining it, and then attaching to the subsequent combination, and separately blocking the abiding place on each object. This is to eliminate the unfavorable side of the path of seeing, that is, by realizing that it is empty of self-nature, it is not established whether or not it is stolen, but only by realization itself. Like the words of a thief, as before. Why is that? Because like this, the great bodhisattva, for all dharmas that are empty of self-nature, whether stealing or not stealing any dharma, is the same as before. In these two (examples), "as before" refers to the meaning of blocking, or combining the way of blocking as previously explained. Placing the white dharma of realization on emptiness also agrees with the sutra. Saying "words" refers to the wisdom of cessation, in order to show the antidote to attachment to mere names, because attachment to the meaning of reality has already been destroyed at the time of knowing suffering. Through this reasoning, although "words" are not spoken of in the previous one, they can actually be obtained, while the second and fourth, in the scriptures
