What I possess is: the irreversible great Bodhisattva is one who has no doubts or hesitations about the profound Dharma, and possesses loving bodily actions, speech actions, and loving mental actions. Thus it is said. By being diligent in the practice of the three trainings, one is able to cut off the obstacles to the aggregate of discipline, namely, the desire for the qualities of sensual pleasures, and the two obstacles of the intention to harm others with hatred; one is able to cut off the obstacles to the aggregate of wisdom, namely, sleep that draws the mind to objects, and the obstacle of torpor that makes the mind unfit, this is one; one is able to cut off the obstacles to the aggregate of concentration, namely, agitation that is not pacified towards pleasant objects, and the obstacle of regret that appears as unpleasant objects in the mind, this is one; and the obstacle of doubt about the truth, namely, these five obstacles that are the cause of not discerning directions do not accompany, that is: the irreversible great Bodhisattva is like this, that is, he does not dwell together with these five obstacles of desire for sensual pleasures, harmful intentions, torpor, sleep, agitation, regret, and doubt. Thus it is said. These five obstacles exist in the desire realm, sleep and torpor, agitation and regret are in pairs, but are combined into one, because they are not different or the antidotes, food, and actions are the same, so it is said in this way. The antidote to the first two is the perception of light. There are five kinds of food, namely, satiety, displeasure, improper behavior, unsuitable temperature of food, and discouragement. The action is that both cause the mind to be discouraged. The antidote to the latter two is calm abiding. The food is the non-dying conceptual thoughts of the realm of relatives, and the recollection of past playfulness, agitation, joyful enjoyment, etc. The action is that both cause the mind not to be pacified. Thus it is said: If desire's obstacles are not the same, because food and action are the same, two combined into one aggregate harm the doer, because of doubt, it is actually five. Thus it is said. The antidote to afflictions, by meditating on emptiness, all the latent tendencies of ignorance and the five views are destroyed by way of deterioration, that is: the irreversible great Bodhisattva is without all of all latent tendencies. Thus it is said. Here, in the Sun Essence, it is said that the complete absence of latent tendencies refers to ignorance and views, but not to the latent tendencies of desire and craving.

Yes. As it is said, Bodhisattvas consciously take birth in samsara, as stated in the Ornament of Realization, the meaning of which has been extensively explained in the Path of Knowledge. Always maintaining equanimity in all four postures, that is, by not letting the mind wander, being mindful and aware in conduct, namely: Walking, standing, sleeping, and sitting, be fully aware. Not looking beyond the distance of a yoke, and not letting the mind wander while walking. Thus it is said. Being constantly engaged in inner and outer cleanliness, and being free from illness, enjoying pure possessions such as Dharma robes, that is, being irreproachable, namely: "Wearing clean clothes," meaning abandoning the ten non-virtuous actions or practicing inner and outer cleanliness, and clean clothes refer to Dharma robes and the like without any foul odor. Secondly, the signs of the summit are: becoming the summit by means of six signs. What are those? Having attained the roots of virtue that are manifestly superior to all worldly warmth and below, therefore, eighty thousand kinds of insects do not arise in the body, namely: Those roots of virtue of the Great Bodhi are manifestly superior to all the world, therefore, those eighty thousand kinds of insects do not exist in the body of the Great Bodhi. Thus it is said. With the roots of virtue of pure higher intention being completely pure, the mind is without deceit, and surpasses the minds of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, namely: As those roots of virtue of the Great Bodhi increase, so too those roots of virtue make the body not upright, speech not upright, and mind not upright, that is, they completely subdue the deceit of body, speech, and mind. Thus it is said. Not being attached to the gains of material possessions and the fame of cherished reverence, etc., therefore, truly taking up the twelve qualities of ascetic practice, such as wearing robes made of rags, namely: He truly takes up and practices the twelve qualities of ascetic practice. Thus it is said. By cultivating the extraordinary six perfections such as generosity, there is no interval of miserliness and immoral conduct, etc., which are contrary and discordant with those, and wrong knowledge, namely: For the irreversible Great Bodhi, there is no arising of the mind of miserliness, and there is no arising of the mind of wrong knowledge. Thus it is said. In the Dharmadhatu, all dharmas are completely
