The reason why I have small, medium, and large abilities on the three paths of the three middles is the same. The fourth is that the eighth (bhumi) and above are the lands of peaceful effort, so if you practice diligently, they will arise in order, but without it, will they arise all at once? To dispel such doubts is determination, and realizing that those wisdoms arise in sequence is the intention of determination, which is the intention of the summary explanation. Others say that the wisdoms and the three paths arise in sequence as a reason for conforming to the Dharma, but this is not reasonable, because what needs to be shown and those two have no difference in meaning except for the contradiction of determination and determination, so the need and the reason will become indistinguishable. The fifth is that some say that the wisdom of the pure land, which is included in the path of distinction, is harmful, but this is not correct, because that itself is the same as what is to be proven. Therefore, in the stage of forbearance, the Bodhisattva abides in freedom from faults, and in the stage of warmth, all latent tendencies are destroyed, and what it shows is that the Dharma of the three wisdoms is completely fulfilled, so those who are considered unsuitable for the characteristic of the path of application, although there is not much unreasonableness in saying so, the main thing is that if all six paths become characteristic, then it is considered that repetition cannot be abandoned. The wise ones, there and there, the direct perceptions with the names of the three paths are the path of application and the path of seeing, and the path of cultivation that exists within the ninth bhumi is not to say that the eighth bhumi, etc., are not those, because there is no doubt about that, and that is how it is considered. There are three statements of the views of others who follow this commentary. The first is the doctrine of the Dharma Friend, the paths mentioned in the three wisdoms are in the two cases of learning for the first time and later stabilizing what has already been learned, from the path of accumulation to the path of cultivation, in order, the first newly born, making both mundane and supramundane the master, and the words of the three paths in the first three paths of application are after having already arisen in the continuum, again familiarizing oneself with the path of cultivation seen before, making only the supramundane the master. That is also because "definite part" is what is interpreted, so from the close mindfulness to the miraculous power at the time of the path of accumulation.

Even the space between the snake's feet must be grasped. Because it is believed that understanding can be achieved through "discriminating factors and seeing," etc., although the boundaries of the extremes of the paths of meditation in the first three stages are not clearly defined, it is clear that the desire to arise initially is present from the second ground onwards. Furthermore, this (scripture) establishes the paths of the complete stage from after the completion of the second ground, and the peak paths from the eighth ground. As it is said, the ultimate perfection is achieved after obtaining the immovable ground in the manner described below. From then on, when familiarizing oneself with the warmth and other experiences previously experienced, realization with twelve aspects will arise. Moreover, the term "peak" here refers to the fact that at the time of the initial gradual arising, and in the second ground and so on, the meanings encompassed by this stage are all established as peaks because they are superior to the practices that have been familiarized with as they arose before. Thus, from the yoga of the complete stage, it is taught that the realization of the ultimate perfection arises in this way. The peak is the meaning that is superior to all, and in the second ground and so on, the meaning of superiority is taught from familiarity. Another view is that the meaning of peak refers to the path of seeing of the three wisdoms, etc., which are the superior aspects of the warmth of this path, etc. If that is the case, it would be acceptable to start from the third ground as well. Furthermore, from that, it is taught that the sixth stage is shown, saying that the attainment of the peak of manifest realization, etc. That is established as being attained up to the tenth ground. This gradual process is grasped from the outside of where the peak is established. That is (the above content). Secondly, the view of the lineage of bestowal is, why are definitive aspects, etc., taught for the first six manifest realizations? In response, the three, base, etc., are the distinctions of meditating separately, and because the methods of meditating on them are different, definitive aspects, etc., are taught for these six. From then on, it should be understood that definitive aspects for the three wisdoms, and liberation aspects, etc., are taught by "etc.," thus expanding. The reason stated there is shown through "worldly," etc., and that is also common with Hearers and Solitary Realizers, etc., so it is worldly. Understanding those four definitive aspects, and the result of understanding preceding them, is transcendental, that is, the seeing and meditation that Hearers, etc., have not realized, those are realized.
