Why are these differences not explained? First, the differences of its ten applications have already been explained in the base knowledge, or the difference of the base knowledge alone is also a distinction possessed by Hearers and Solitary Realizers, so it is unreasonable to explain the difference from that aspect. Second, the antidote base knowledge is pervaded by the path knowledge, so explaining its difference actually means explaining it as well. Then, does it also apply to the application of all-knowing? No, because there is a difference even from the difference of all-knowing alone, so it is not the same. Second, the path of seeing is the result of the path of application and the cause of the path of cultivation, so the explanation of it also applies to both. If the cause has no difference, then the difference of the result becomes causeless; if the cause has a difference, but the result has no difference, then the cause becomes meaningless. From the "Sunlight," these differences are considered to be present in all three applications, but this is only because there is no special explanation. The second part is divided into three points. The first point is: What is the operative dharma in the differences such as inconceivable? As an answer, the three intermediate sentences are spoken. Moreover, this is not only a brief indication of the sixteen differences. The second point is: One and a half verses explain the nature of the difference, and the meaning of the last two is, where is it superior? It is the two path applications. From where is it superior? From the paths of Hearers and Solitary Realizers other than the Great Vehicle. By what operative dharma? By the differences such as inconceivable. What is the number? It should be known that the difference is the nature of sixteen. Where are the sixteen? From inconceivable to the absence of taste. The third point is: Difference enters. Where does it enter? The Bodhisattva and others refer to the Tathagata's path knowledge, and the two paths of application of all-knowing, which are referred to by others. Some think, how can the application of the Buddha's all-knowing be a basis? Because it is not a basis of knowledge, but a symbolic application. From where does it enter? From the paths of Hearers and others, which are referred to as Solitary Realizers. How does it enter? It becomes the path that is superior to those two. By what operative dharma? By the sixteen such as inconceivable. By what power? By the power of the perfectly enlightened Buddha and others, the Bodhisattva will not fall into samsara and nirvana, but will be well and completely held by wisdom.

Oṃ. What is the difference? There are four here. The momentary differences of the truths of suffering, origin, cessation, and path. The first is the difference between the four moments of forbearance of the Dharma, etc., which have the truth of suffering as their object. Where it is the cause of the four wisdoms of the Buddhas and transcends the realm of conceptual thought, therefore it is inconceivable, and because there is no comparable equal, therefore it is unequal, and because it is truly transcended only by measuring with measure, and because it is truly transcended by counting with the number of expressions, etc., realizing the four natures of suffering. This mother is close to inconceivable actions, unequal actions, immeasurable actions, innumerable actions, inequality and equal actions. So it is said. The second is the difference between the four moments of forbearance of the Dharma, etc., which have the truth of origin as their object. Where, just as a king remains in equanimity and the ministers perform all his duties, the mother, without thinking, gathers all the qualities of abandonment and realization of all noble beings from the hearers to the Buddhas. This profound mother is perfectly endowed with the five perfections. So it is said. The fineness of suchness and the excellence of suchness, that is, the mind of an ordinary person is fully matured, the wise man with wisdom who enters into those two meanings, and the noble one who enters into those two meanings, is consciousness. Those two wise men know the knowable meaning as it is, that is, the mother is peaceful, subtle, excellent, the wise man should know with consciousness, that is, those bodhisattvas who develop faith in this mother will surely have made offerings to the Buddhas of the past. So it is said. The subtle things that are not the object of the self-realized ones, which are divided by place and time, are known, or the wisdom of the bodhisattva who has transformed from the stream-enterer to the self-realized one in the three thousand worlds, the forbearance of the origin is believed in, and it is a particularly superior uncommon knowledge. All sentient beings in the three thousand world realms, as many as there are, will all follow faith. Following the Dharma, and the eighth and the stream-enterer and
