In the commentary, if it is established as non-conceptual wisdom by pacifying close examination of thoughts, then it would also become like the cessation of consciousness and feelings, which is refuted. And in the Compendium, it is also said: 'The absorption of cessation should be said to be without outflows, because it is free from afflictions, because it is not corresponding, because it has no object, and because it is not produced by afflictions.' Thus, it is said that it does not focus on an object and does not correspond with mind and mental factors. After that, the so-called attainment from subsequent attainment does not refer to the subsequent attainment wisdom of both equipoise and subsequent attainment, but rather refers to entering this path by first eliminating the past path. Also, at the end of that sutra, it says: 'The supramundane is not to be practiced by all ordinary beings except for the bodhisattvas who are situated on high ground. Bodhisattvas, although they manifest supramundane dharmas, do so through skillful means, but do not abandon afflictions.' The statement that it is neither a learner nor a non-learner is because it is similar to non-flowing and nirvana. Therefore, bodhisattvas manifest for the benefit of sentient beings, but not for the sake of abandoning afflictions, and because it is not a corresponding path of learners and non-learners, it is a non-corresponding, uncontaminated dharma. Secondly, if one does not rely on the system of the brothers, then other great treatises of the Mahayana that do not conform to this will not be distinguished. If one does not rely on the explanations of the great chariots, one will not be able to explain the sutras and the intent of Maitreya oneself, like a blind person led by a blind person. Therefore, this also refers to the fact that it is attained by the power of the path, and that the Buddha also has the ability to manifest it, so it is said to be the wisdom dharmakaya, but it does not mean that a substance is generated in the Buddha's lineage. The Buddha's saying that one enters this path refers to obtaining the ability. Saying that it is a sudden leap does not harm, just like a mind that is not in equipoise. The intention of saying it is absorption is that this mind of absorption is absorption, and it is its result, so it is named after the cause, or when entering this, the body's

It is with the intention of balancing the elements. That is, it does not exist before the seven aggregates are blocked, but it exists after they are blocked, so it is given the name "conditioned phenomenon." As it is said in the commentary on the Abhidharmakośa: "If it is said that even without mind there is absorption, how is it? Is it because the great elements of earth, water, fire, and wind are made equal? Or is it because the mind of absorption causes it to be absorbed and attained, so it is absorption. Then, are these absorptions real or imputed? It is said that they are real because they prevent the arising of mind." It is not so, because the mind of absorption itself prevents it. Merely the mind of absorption gives rise to a basis that is contrary to it, so that at other times, the mind does not arise, and merely the thing that is contrary to the mind arises, so it is called absorption. Merely not arising, it does not exist for what has not arisen before and what arises later, so this absorption is considered a "conditioned phenomenon." Sixth, some say that absorption cannot exceed seven days, because it would abandon the benefit of others. This view is unreasonable, because absorption itself is also for the benefit of others. In the Karuṇāpuṇḍarīka Sūtra it says: "A bodhisattva who is obstructed by one birth, with the mind of absorption causes these ten intermediate kalpas to pass." The reason for saying this is that the previous reason is like that. And the cessation absorption spoken of in this sutra is said to begin from the tenth bhūmi, it needs to be examined whether it is so, and if not, it can be used as proof. Seventh, the Abhidharmakośa says: "Both depend on the desire realm and the form realm, cessation first in humans." It means that it first arises on the basis of humans, and then arises in the form realm, as it is said in the sutra to be summarized. However, the Compendium of Topics says: "If the ālaya-vijñāna is not accepted, then this establishment is necessary; if it is accepted, then it is said that all three realms can manifest." This is the difference between the presence or absence of the object of negation. In the Compendium of Topics it says: "The formless realm is the most peaceful, and if one enters into this, it is necessary to enter in order to make the unpeaceful peaceful, so it will not manifest there." This is only a rough establishment. If analyzed carefully, there is also coarse mental activity there, so it will also enter there.
