Is. The first of the seven sections explains the path of completely understanding objects such as the body, that is, objects. Among them are the four aspects of mindfulness. So, on what object? In what way? With what essence? For what purpose is it understood? First, from the body to the Dharma. Among them, the body is divided into three, the inner body is the five inner sense faculties with form. The one who can destroy harm (གནོད་འཇོམས་ཆེ་བ།) and Shantipa (ཤཱནྟི་པ།) take the six faculties as objects, which is inconsistent with the Compendium of Topics (ཀུན་བཏུས།). The outer body is not the basis of the sense faculties, but the five objects such as form and sound. The body of both inner and outer is the outer sense base with form that serves as the basis of one's own sense faculties, and the five faculties of other continuums. Feeling is pleasure, pain, and equanimity. Mind is the aggregate of consciousness. Dharma is all mental factors other than feeling, as well as non-associated formations and unconditioned phenomena. The latter three, such as the inner of the three, are based on the three bodies in order, or arise with these three as objects. These four are also the objects of understanding that children consider to be the basis of my self, the basis of my enjoyment, my essence, and the basis of becoming my complete purification in order. Second, the self-characteristics and general characteristics of the four, such as the body, that is, to observe completely through them. That is to say, whether the two, lineage (རིགས།), giving (བྱིན།), and characteristics (མཚན།), can function or not has been said in epistemology, which is not suitable here. Therefore, the Treasury of Knowledge says: "On body, feeling, mind, and dharmas, observe with two characteristics." In its auto-commentary, it says: "Their self-characteristic is their own essence. The general characteristic is that all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, all contaminated phenomena are suffering, and all dharmas are emptiness and selflessness." In accordance with this. Its self-characteristic is also that the body is of arising, abiding, and ceasing, feeling is of experiencing, mind is of focusing, and for Dharma, whatever the essence of mental factors and so on is, that is what is observed. Furthermore, what is said from observing the body on the body to observing the Dharma on the Dharma is called observing after the body and so on for observing on the body and so on, which is a collection of words in the seventh case, and the way of observing is also images of various forms, such as rotten corpses and being eaten by insects.

And what appears in the mind, and when the body of self-nature has not died, one's own body has such a Dharma nature, has such a self-nature, does not exceed such characteristics, views impurity as equality, that is, these three words are connected to the three bodies of the past, future, and present. Feelings are painful, the mind is the basis, objects are different, arising from different places, so it is impermanent, all dharmas are without self, only universal purity, thus practicing. This is the common practice, the uncommon practice has three differences: object, attention, and attainment. The first is: Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas only focus on their own bodies, etc., Bodhisattvas focus on both their own and others' bodies, etc. The second is: Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas pay attention to impermanence, etc., Bodhisattvas do not focus on the characteristics of the Dharma and practice. The third is: Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas practice only to get rid of contaminated bodies, etc., Bodhisattvas do not practice to get rid of or not get rid of them, but to achieve non-abiding Nirvana. The third is: As stated in the Compendium, "What is self-nature? It is wisdom and mindfulness." Like distinguishing the self-characteristics and common characteristics of the body, etc., holding them without forgetting. As stated in the Abhidharmakosha, "Mindfulness is close abiding, it is wisdom." This also speaks of the main thing. The fourth is: To practice in order to know the Four Noble Truths, abandon, and realize them, to practice in order to enter practice. Like this, body mindfulness is knowing that the contaminated body is the root of suffering, feeling mindfulness is knowing that feeling pleasure and pain is the cause of attachment to being inseparable and separate, knowing from the perspective of the result that attachment is the root of suffering, so abandoning it, mind mindfulness is knowing the basic mind that grasps the self, transforming attachment by observing impermanence, etc., so there is no fear of the annihilation of self, so not being afraid of realizing the cessation truth, Dharma mindfulness is knowing that all contaminated dharmas are unfavorable, and pure dharmas are their antidote, so knowing that this is the method to eliminate harm, thereby generating them, entering the Four Noble Truths in this way. As stated in the Madhyantavibhaga, "For the sake of evil realms, for the cause of desire, for the sake of the basis, for the sake of not being ignorant, enter the Four Noble Truths."
