Here, what I am going to explain is the object of omniscient knowledge (རྣམ་མཁྱེན). Sher 'byung also thinks that, because only by the aspects of all-knowingness (རྣམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན་པ་ཉིད) are included the aspects of both all-knowingness (ཐམས་ཅད་ཤེས་པ་ཉིད) and knowing the suchness (གཉིས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་), what is the use of explaining these two separately? Even if they were explained separately before, they will be summarized later. If so, then does it mean that only all-knowingness should be explained? It is not so, because although all the aspects of things and paths are understood, not all aspects are understood; and if all aspects are not understood, then because there is also the understanding of it by the absence itself, therefore all-knowingness also includes these two. These aspects are not mutually inclusive in the same way, because here we want to focus on these aspects themselves. It is also not just that all-knowingness is explained separately, because the aspects that abide in the aspects of things and paths are the aspects of all-knowingness, because all-knowingness is just the aspect itself. Even so, when all-knowingness first understands all things, and then knowing the path understands all paths, because all-knowingness understands the aspects of the three omnisciences, therefore the two all-knowingnesses are repeated twice, and this should be understood with effort. For the same reason, those aspects themselves are objects, so the three omnisciences that are their basis are also objects, and by showing the other two in the aspect of omniscience, it is a repetition of what was shown before. However, if they were explained separately before and then explained together later, then does omniscience also need to be shown separately from those two? As an answer to this: merely knowing the difference between the aspects of the basis and the path does not understand all aspects; and if there is no understanding of all, then omniscience does not exist, so through its aspect it also includes the other two, and there is also the understanding of the aspects of those two in omniscience, so the reason why the aspects of the two need to be shown in the aspect of omniscience, and the aspects of the basis and the path do not include all aspects like omniscience, and omniscience is the object of the general aspects, so there is no need to show its aspect separately.

And, since the aspects of the three wisdoms are objects, the three omniscient ones, inseparable from them, are also the objects of the all-knowing wisdom. Thus it is said. In this way, here, regarding the aspects of the three wisdoms, it is necessary to explain them separately for each individual and wisdom, and the bases of the three wisdoms of the body arrangement that are spoken of, for the sake of connection, are done separately for the three individuals expressed by the words, and in the place of Buddhahood, the aspects of the same kind as that which makes it the object are taken. The third is the third of explaining the aspects of the all-knowing wisdom, which is the section explained by the commentary, elaborating and first the section of brief indication. The third has two, brief indication and detailed explanation. The first is: Promise. To what? To the aspects of the all-knowing wisdom. How? The thirty-seven that the Hearers have, and the thirty-four that the Bodhisattvas have, and the thirty-nine that the Buddhas have. The reason is: From the establishment of mindfulness onwards, up to the eight noble paths, all of these are the path included by the base wisdom among the three all-knowing ones, in this way, that is, by reason. Similarly, apply it to the other two as well. Some say that in order to relate the number of individuals and dharmas to the commentary, "as the number" is a mistake in translation. This is not reasonable, because "mindfulness and the aspects" means that it is first necessary to relate it to the numbers such as seven as the number, or if it is related as the number, then it means the meaning that will appear below. So, what is the use of distinguishing in this way? Because the all-knowing wisdom includes all the noble individuals, Hearers, Solitary Realizers, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, and gathers the aspects of the three wisdoms into objects. This is like what is said in the Sunlight Treatise: "Therefore, for all noble individuals, the aspects of the three all-knowing ones are gathered." This is the meaning explained in the Commentary on the Ornament and the Commentary on the Essence of the Sugata. The so-called "path included by the three all-knowing ones" is the commentary on "conforming to the truth of the path," and the Sunlight Treatise also says: "That which conforms to the truth of the path is this, the path is three: the path of all-knowing, the path of path-knowing, and the path of all-aspect-knowing." Therefore, it appears in accordance with this, so the meaning of conforming is just that.
