The purity of the child is the purity of form, etc., and the purity of form, etc., is the purity of the result, thus it is. Here, the meaning of showing that the purity of the object and the subject are mutually one, if the above explanation is not done in this way, it will be difficult for the difference between these two purities to be established without any difference, as explained in the great commentaries. The second has two parts: the actual division of the path, and the distinction of the ultimate path. The first has three parts, the first of which is: the purity of the four noble ones, generally speaking, without distinguishing them individually, they are spoken of in common, and then they are distinguished and spoken of in the following. The second is: the purity of the disciples of the Hearers for the sake of eliminating the obscurations of afflictions, thus, whatever is the complete purity of desire, hatred, and ignorance, and the complete purity up to omniscience itself, this is not two and cannot be made two, that is, it is not different and not interrupted. So it is said. For the sake of eliminating the grasping and conceptualization of one aspect of the obscurations of knowledge, the purity of the self-realized ones symbolized by the rhinoceros horn, thus, the complete purity of old age and death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, displeasure, and confusion, and the complete purity of omniscience, these two are not two and not interrupted. So it is said. The self-realized ones mainly meditate on dependent origination, so this purity is shown. For the sake of eliminating the obscurations of the path of the three vehicles, that is, the aforementioned two and the three of grasping and conceptualization, the purity of the princes and Bodhisattvas, thus, with the complete purity of the Mother, the perfection of meditation is completely pure. So it is said. Here, through the gate of the six perfections, complete purity is spoken of for all explanations of complete purification, and the Bodhisattvas also meditate on all complete purification, so it is shown. The complete purity of the Buddhas is the extreme of complete purity of all aspects of obscurations. The end is a part, and there are two of them, the end of things and time. Among them, because of abandoning the obscurations of knowledge, the first end is transcended, and because of constantly attaining the Dharmakaya, the second end is transcended, therefore it is called transcending the end, and extremely transcending the end. The reason why the explanation of transcending the end appears here is because "anta" (Sanskrit Devanagari: अन्त, Sanskrit Romanization: anta, Chinese literal meaning: boundary) can refer to both extreme and transcending the end, as said by the great translator Lotsawa Lodan (བློ་བརྟན, c. 1059-1109), so the latter is the main focus.

Having done so, the noble one spoke. Regarding this purity, whether it is the four commentaries on the Twenty Thousand Verses or the three commentaries on the Eight Thousand Verses, none of them combine with the sutras. The explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verses and the two statements that agree with the three Mother Sutras and eight meanings, these two combine with the sutras, but the two are also inconsistent. The latter considers the sutra of the Bodhisattva's purity as a sutra that generally explains purity, and assumes that the first three purities are implicitly stated. The scholars' combination of this with sutras such as "Beyond Extremes" is inconsistent with any sutra commentary. The third is that the first two are the purity of the basis-knowledge, the third is the purity of the path-knowledge, and the fourth is the purity of the all-knowing. Regarding the fourth, in the "Sunlight" it says, "Beyond extremes refers to the realm of reality, and because it exists in it, it is utterly pure." And in the "Buddha's Intentions" it also says, "Utterly pure is the realm of reality, and existing in it is the utterly pure, perfectly pure, completely enlightened Buddha." Therefore, the meaning of "utterly pure arising from the realm of reality" must be understood as existing in the realm of reality through utter purity, otherwise it is meaningless. Second, there are two: the distinction of the path and the refutation of disputes. First, there are two: the question and the answer. The first is: In the context of path-knowledge, the purity of the Bodhisattva is the main thing, so while mentioning it, saying "all utterly pure" refers to the purity of the Buddha being utterly pure, and "afflictions and knowable things diminish" refers to the purity of the Hearers and so on, the self-realized ones, being only a part of the other side of utter purity, merely removing a part, saying it is a small part, what is the reason for this? This question is asked because it is thought that the ultimate of each path is the same. Second, there are two, the first is: The nine grounds Are they the object to be abandoned or the support of the antidote? In the Ornament of Realization it says, "In the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm," therefore one should take the path of meditation of the nine grounds such as the desire realm. Whether in the desire realm or the peak of existence, abandoning the means of the path to enlightenment is because one is not skilled in means. Saying that it is mainly about the Hearers, therefore there is no contradiction between this and that, this is the view of some. Another view is that, starting from abiding without weariness, up to the limit of the sphere of nothing whatsoever.
