So. In the Eight Thousand Verses, the eight abodes of the Hearers, as well as the ten grounds of the Solitary Realizers and Buddhas, are explained. The meaning of these, in brief, is: When a Bodhisattva cultivates the Path of Knowledge, the Hearer's path of application arises in dependence on clinging to the sixteen aspects of the Four Noble Truths, such as impermanence, etc. Therefore, one should understand non-apprehension through the previous four modes. As the Ornament of Realization states: "For the purpose of a Bodhisattva realizing the Warmth stage, form is empty of its own nature," and so on, "non-dual and not to be made dual, one should meditate on non-difference." And the Peak: "For the sake of realization, one should meditate on non-apprehension of form, etc., in all aspects." And the Forbearance: "For the sake of realization, one should not abide in any circumstance with the manner of clinging to form, etc., with aspects such as permanence and impermanence." Thus, one should meditate. It is said. At the end of explaining the Path of Seeing below, when asked why the Bodhisattva's path of application is not explained, the answer is: Because it refers to the path of application already explained in the first chapter, and therefore it does not refer to this and the path of application below. The Noble One also, in the context of avoiding repetition of the paths of application, said: "The definitive aspect of the Bodhisattva spoken of in Omniscience, the definitive aspect of the Hearer spoken of in the Path of Knowledge, and the definitive aspect spoken of in the Solitary Realizer Path." Therefore, these two paths of application are made for the Lesser Vehicle. However, there, the intention of saying that these aspects are the aspects of those two paths of application is: To explain the dharma that has become the nature of the self of the person, by making it empty of its own nature, etc., as having the object-aspect of the selflessness of the person. In the Sutra, when asked how to abide in that Mother, the answer is that the fruit of the Hearer's path and these two paths of application are explained in order. The way to abide is how to direct the mind, therefore, it is also slightly mentioned above in the manner of non-apprehension, and here it is explained extensively, therefore, the Path of Knowledge is mainly explained. The knowable path of application is the same as the Noble Path and impermanence, etc., in terms of object-aspect, therefore, it has been explained before, so here, apart from the names of Warmth, etc., the object-aspect is not clearly explained, according to the commentary.

It has been supplemented and explained. The second part has two aspects: the general and the specific. The first part has seven points: reasoning, path, perfect accomplishment, accumulation of merit, abiding, activity, and explanation of terms. The first point: it possesses three distinctions: First, by nature, it has fewer afflictions, therefore, its mind does not like noise and likes to be alone. Second, it has less compassion, therefore, its mind does not engage in teaching the Dharma and benefiting sentient beings, but abides in small thoughts. Third, its faculties are mediocre and it has arrogant behavior, therefore, it wants to attain enlightenment without a teacher and without rivals. Although these characteristics are attributed by the lamas to those who practice alone like a rhinoceros horn, there is no clear explanation on the ground, and the path and accomplishment are also divided into three aspects, which are commonly taught for both rhinoceros horn-like solitary practice and collective practice. For the two points of abiding and activity, different characteristics are explained separately. Therefore, it is clearly explained in the common framework. However, the liking for solitude is abandoned in collective practice. The second point is: How does that person learn the path? There are also three aspects to the path. The first path is: abiding in the lineage of the Pratyekabuddha, pleasing the appearance of the Buddhas for a hundred eons, thereby maturing one's own mindstream into self-enlightenment, and in order to later attain one's own enlightenment, mastering the six things that should be mastered, namely: mastering the aggregates, sources, elements, dependent origination, what is and is not, and the truths. This is the path of the rhinoceros horn. Some people think that by focusing on the scriptures of the Shravaka Vehicle, studying and contemplating for a hundred eons, and knowing that one still needs to take birth, practicing the previous path, and then at the time of death, being reborn in a pure land without Buddhas and Shravakas, and there, not relying on others, but walking the path with the wisdom gained by oneself, and also when attaining enlightenment, making three aspirations: May I cherish the beings to be tamed with my body rather than with words. And after death, being reborn in an empty pure land, being born as one of the non-outcaste lineages of the three regions of Jambudvipa, naturally renouncing from home and taking full ordination, and then going to the cemetery, bone
