Among the three, the first is, among these three, the first stage of the meditation path is called 'aspiring mind'. The connection to the Sutra is that in the sixth act, the Sutra says that the Mother Buddha made the place a place of offering, from which it is inferred which is more meritorious, offering to the Mother Buddha or the relics of the Buddha, and these were spoken in response to the question. The second part has four points: root, branch, the difference of branches, and the summary of meaning. The first point is: aspiration should be known to be of three types, namely what is self, etc. The reason for distinguishing in this way is that Young Pal explains it from the perspective of being the cause of the Dharma, Enjoyment, and Manifestation bodies, but the actual meaning is as stated in the commentary. The second point is: that is also, etc. The third point is: small, etc. The fourth point is: in this way, etc. How should these be understood? There are four points to this: the object of aspiration, the nature of aspiration, the cause of aspiration, and the function of aspiration. The first point is, in the 'Ornament Light Commentary', it says: Prajnaparamita is non-dual, that wisdom is the Tathagata. In this way, mainly the Dharmakaya Tathagata is the Mother Buddha. Therefore, if you offer to the Mother of the Conquerors who can show this, you are offering to the body of Omniscient Wisdom, so many merits will be generated. So it was said. In the 'Perfectly Pure Sutra' it says: What is aspiration for? The Bhagavan Mother mentioned in the Sutra, asking and reciting her, etc., and offerings from flowers, etc. up to the end of lamp offerings. Thus, the Mother Buddha of the Sutra is asked and recited, and offerings are made with flowers, etc., and it is explained that aspiration for this is the object of aspiration, although it is in accordance with the literal meaning of the Sutra, it must be aspiration for the path and the fruit, the former is better. The second part has two points, the general nature is: the nature of this is to definitely grasp the determined thing. As stated in the 'Clear Words', its origin is the 'Compendium', considering the mental factor of aspiration and what is recognized as one. In the 'Perfectly Pure Sutra' it says: Aspiration is faith and desire, that is, the characteristic of trust and wanting. Thus it is explained as the faith of trust and wanting the object. The nature of the difference is, in the 'Sunlight Commentary' it says: The aspiration for one's own benefit is what accomplishes one's own benefit, and also especially for the benefit of others.

It acts by its own nature. The meaning of self and other is that which accomplishes the meaning of both. The meaning of other is that which becomes solely for the sake of others. Thus, although the thought is not separated from benefiting others, there is a difference in application. The second is that the application is interrupted. The third is that the application is uninterrupted, thus explaining the difference between constant and non-constant application. The third is pure scripture and reasoning. The fourth is that, according to the former, doubt about the philosophical system is dispelled, and according to the latter, disbelief and unwillingness are dispelled, and definite understanding and great desire arise for the Mother. The third also has four as before. The first has four. The basis of division is the nature of mere faith in the path of meditation. Or, the contaminated path of meditation is not only divided into three. The aspects of division are the three types of faith: self-benefit, dual-benefit, and other-benefit. The reason for dividing is that, although there is no difference in focusing on the benefit of others with thought, there are three ways in which application focuses on the Mother: for one's own benefit, for the benefit of both oneself and others, and for the benefit of other disciples. The necessity of faith in the Mother is that, just as one cultivates faith and meditation for the sake of oneself, both, and others, one sees the three perfections of virtuous Dharma, meaning, and benefit, which are the basis or cause of attainment. To refute disputes regarding necessity: If so, then the three types of faith will manifest their results immediately after being cultivated, because just as one has faith, the three benefits become the basis for attainment? There is no fault, because even so, the three meanings do not manifest immediately after cultivating faith, because the Mother, the object of faith, is only under the control of the causal path of cultivating faith, and that is why. In the Ornament, it says: Therefore, just as one has faith, the basis of seeing virtuous Dharma is under the control of the path of cultivation, so the nature of not manifesting initially, faith, should be stated. It also has three types called the root divisions: self-benefit, self and other-benefit, and other-benefit. Thus, how one has faith is not separate from selflessness, or is in accordance with the realization of selflessness, and the Bhagavan has also comprehended the virtue of the Bodhisattva path.
