It is said that patience is the antidote to the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing in the three realms, after which many wise people such as Bhadrapada followed. Among them, Abhidharma explains the method of abandonment like a storehouse, following the manner of the Compendium of Topics, which is malicious, because it is contrary to the view of the Compendium of Topics. The so-called "Analysis of the Five Aggregates" mostly adopts the views of the Vaibhashika school in its explanation of the three dharmas. However, glorious Chandrakirti opposed the view that the distinctions of the two truths are merely distinctions of conventional truth, so this was not written by him, but was borrowed by someone who knew the lower Abhidharma. The third part has three points: establishing the tenet, explaining the rationality, and the way it is stated in the scriptures. The first part has two points, the first view is: relative to the direct realization of the result, the path of seeing is one moment; relative to the individual direct realization, there are sixteen moments. The meaning of the first view is that understanding, abandoning, realizing, and cultivating the four noble truths in sequence are the actions of the path of seeing, which is the result of the path of seeing. If viewed from this perspective, there is only one moment, because when seeing the truth of suffering, one abandons the afflictions to be abandoned by the truth of suffering, and this is also the truth of origin, so one also abandons the truth of origin. Abandoning the truth of origin is also realizing the truth of cessation. And if there is no path of cultivation, none of this will happen, so they happen simultaneously. The meaning of the second view is that although it is like this, because the imputations on each truth are different, and the ways of abandoning are also different, it is established as sixteen moments according to the order of the subsequent arising of certainty. Therefore, from the way of guiding the certainty of the four noble truths, sixteen moments will appear in sequence; and from the way of acting such as understanding and abandoning, there is no sequence. According to this view, the distinction between entering and emerging from meditation on the path of seeing can also be established. The second view is: relative to the individual direct realization, there is also only one moment, because by cultivating "all dharmas are without inherent existence," when the cultivation reaches its culmination, the stainless wisdom with the suchness of the four noble truths as its object will arise in the manner of "the nature of meaning is one, because self is manifest, what is to be examined by valid cognition, what other unseen part is there?", thus again

Because there is no seeing of what is to be seen. The way to abandon what is to be abandoned is also that it is entirely aroused by attachment to the afflictions of the object of the view of the perishable and attachment, etc. Liberation from that is because of seeing that it does not exist as attachment. There is also no order to that. The second is: the latter system is not reasonable, because in that way, in one instant, all aspects of what is to be realized of the path of seeing are completed, so there is no need to cultivate the path of seeing through the door of the remaining aspects. How can the arrangement of entering and abiding in the path of seeing be possible? Furthermore, as the verse says: "From seeing the commonality of form dharmas, like silver patterns on fish skin. If, due to the cause of confusion, other qualities are not combined." Like this, if merely seeing the suchness of the four truths does not lead to superimposition in the opposite direction, although the direct realization of individual understanding arises in one instant, at some time, because of some causes of confusion, there are other aspects of superimposition in the opposite direction. Therefore, for the sake of uprooting them, there is also a need to cultivate through other aspects. Therefore, the state of entering the stream-enterer and the state of abiding in the fruit are also reasonable. Therefore, although the consciousness grasps all aspects of the suchness of the four truths, the very ability to eliminate the superimposed aspects through the power of familiarity and clarity with a certain part is the elimination of the obscuration that has become an obstacle to it, so it is a valid measure for that part, but not for other parts. Although there is no difference between seeing blue and seeing an instant, it is like not being able to eliminate the superimposition of non-blue, and not being able to eliminate the clinging to permanence. If seeing does not lead to certainty, then it should not be said that there is any difference between noble ones and ordinary beings, because the more clear the aspects are, the more those consciousnesses are completely separated from the cause of confusion, therefore those consciousnesses are particularly superior. These statements of views and the debates of arguing whether they are reasonable or not appear in the Ornament for Clear Realization. Like this, because the suchness of the four truths has no parts, although all is seen at the time of seeing, seeing does not pervade the generation of certainty. In order to eliminate superimposition and generate certainty, it is asserted that the path of seeing is cultivated through sixteen aspects, so sixteen forbearance-knowledges arise sequentially in equipoise, but the way of realizing the nature of reality is not different, it is continuous.
