Completely training in humility, and because of not clinging to giving, bestowing, and receiving, therefore completely training in giving; in order not to be arrogant because of that, completely training in relying on virtuous friends; because of not clinging to all dharmas, completely training in seeking the Dharma; because of not clinging to home, completely training in appearing again and again; because of not clinging to marks and excellent signs, completely training in desiring the Buddha's body; because of not clinging to the distinctions of dharmas, completely training in explaining the Dharma; because of not clinging to words, completely training in truthful words. Thus it is said. This sutra speaks of ten things to be trained in, which are consistent with the means of training and the basis. The third is: to be known. As what? As complete training. How is it done? By realizing that these ten things are not clung to in any way in their own nature. This is a symbol, but in conventional truth, it is also necessary to cling to them like illusions. As it says in the Pure One: How does it transform? Through skill in means. And what is that? It is relying correctly on the two truths, that is, relying on the conventional truth to completely train, and relying on the ultimate truth to see them as inseparable. Like that. These last two lines summarize the sutra's addition of non-attachment to each of the ten dharmas. This should also be understood in the remaining sections, as explained in the commentary. The second part has two points: the nature of each complete training, and how it becomes complete training. The first point is: The term "thus" is used to connect, and the meaning of indicating each complete training from within the content of the general complete training is "thus," and the rest should be understood in the same way. Completely training in higher intention is: First, generating the mind of enlightenment for the sake of others, just as it is, without exceeding the order, for all virtuous deeds that are the basis or cause of enlightenment, without the hypocrisy of being devoted to one's own benefit, and without the thought of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. Completely training should also be added to all the following. Or, "just as it is" means that it is also explained in the commentary according to the order of the root numbers. In both the sutra and the Ornament of Realization, it is said to practice all virtuous deeds.

It is wrong to explain based on "all sentient beings." The real benefit is to seek the wisdom of omniscience that benefits the needs of oneself and others for the sake of all sentient beings, and to hold the Mahayana Dharma for this reason. Equanimity towards sentient beings means that all sentient beings possess the Mahayana Bodhicitta, and by practicing the four immeasurables, one attains single-pointedness of mind, without discrimination. In the two purities, the former is the desire to benefit sentient beings, and the latter is explained as the cause of the former. Giving means giving away all possessions with the practice of non-attachment to the three spheres. Relying on a spiritual friend means pleasing the virtuous spiritual friend who encourages the attainment of omniscience in every way. Seeking the object of the true Dharma means that, with the intention of omniscience, one is not satisfied with practicing only the partial Dharma of the Hearer Vehicle, etc., but wishes to seek the object of the true Dharma belonging to the three vehicles, and does not fall into the two grounds. Constant renunciation means seeing that living at home is the source of many sufferings, therefore one is not happy to live at home, and in all lifetimes one renounces into the teachings of the Tathagata, and there is no obstacle to this. Joyfully desiring the Buddha's body means desiring to accomplish the unsurpassed Buddha's body, and if one sees the Buddha's body, one will not be separated from mindfulness until Buddhahood. The previous word "constant" also applies here. Here, the sutra says "completely purify the desire for the Buddha's body," so it is easier to understand if translated as "desiring the Buddha's body." Some treatises say "realizing the Buddha's body" and "dedicating oneself to the Buddha's body," according to this explanation, the former is realization, that is, seeing the Buddha's body and feeling joy, and the latter is dedicating one's mind to the Buddha's body and remembering it. The sutra says that after seeing the Tathagata, one will not be separated from mindfulness until one attains omniscience. Fame means explaining the desire for the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya, the three bodies of the Buddha. Teaching the Dharma means, from beginning to end, truly expounding the excellent Dharma of the twelve branches of scripture. Truthful speech means speaking truthfully without deceiving others as promised, and these words are added to the end of each sentence. The second is, it can be obtained. The reason is that it is the basis of merit.
