It is said that the son's Bodhicitta is the supreme Bodhicitta. If these are signs of dream omens, why are they not accompanied by the five obscurations such as warmth and sleep? There are two types of sleep: afflictive sleep, which causes consciousness to enter objects without autonomy, and virtuous sleep, which makes the body sluggish and is counted as virtuous. Therefore, even if the former is absent, there is no fault in having the latter, which is a response that is consistent with the meaning. Others are responses that name sudden appearances of consciousness as dreams, but there is no need to name them as dreams. Furthermore, if these signs appear at inappropriate times, it should be understood as the power of mantras or demons. This is said in "Clear Words." The seventh is that the ultimate result is the Buddha-ground, and the temporary result is the subsequent grounds. The third is to explain in terms of meaning. The second is divided into two: connecting the context and actually explaining the collection of grounds. The first is, it has been said. Where, etc. Although there are only twenty-two ways to show complete purification, the verses of the result ground are collected here because it is not convenient to separate them when connecting to the whole, so they are discarded. What is the need? Which of the nine grounds will become the Dharma of complete purification? Where is it? In the collection of grounds, that is, at that time. The connection of the Sutra is, in the answer to the second of the five questions generally shown in the collection, how does one enter the Great Vehicle? It is said, "Subhuti, for this, the Great Vehicle practices the six perfections, rising from ground to ground," that is, by summarizing the ten grounds of generosity, etc., one gradually enters through becoming the ten major parts, thus speaking through the display of the qualities of the ground's fruit or basis. What extends from the accomplishment of entry and the accomplishment of collection is the difference between the Sutra and the Ornament. The second is divided into two: the complete purification of the nine grounds as the cause, and the nature of the ten grounds as the result. The first is divided into nine: the complete purification of the first ground, the second ground, the third ground, the fourth ground, the fifth ground, the sixth ground, the seventh ground, the eighth ground, and the ninth ground. The first is divided into two: the root and the commentary. The first is divided into three: brief display, extensive explanation, and the method of purification. The first is: By the ten complete purifications, it is the method of attainment. The ground is the first to be attained. To be attained

The way to guide is: Some people think that "will be obtained" refers to abandoning the ten non-virtuous actions in the fifth and seventh grounds, as well as clinging to self and sentient beings, etc., so it is to make the unobtained obtain, but this view is not reasonable. Because "will be obtained" is a summary of the meaning in the sutra, "Bodhisattvas abiding in the first ground should practice these purifications," and for the eight dharmas of the remaining grounds, it is also said that abiding in this ground, one should do this and should not do that, and because there is the abandonment of non-virtuous actions and clinging to self, etc., in that ground. Then, in order to make the obtained special, it is indicated by the name of purifying that ground and will be obtained. In the Ornament of Realization, it says: Among them, whatever dharmas of any ground will be purified, as long as they are not complete, it is still that ground, and if it is complete, then it should be known that it is another ground. Here, what is to be purified is the grounds. Through what way? Through respectively increasing the qualities of the grounds and eliminating the faults. Through what? Through those who do not cling to the differences of the ten causes, etc., and are taken by wisdom. Another way is to make the grounds the basis of purification, and to make the qualities and faults the objects to be purified. The meaning of purifying qualities is to make them complete like purifying a mansion, and the meaning of purifying faults is to remove them like removing dirt from a jewel. In this way, this brief explanation from the perspective of number should also be understood in relation to the respective situations of the remaining grounds. Because in the sutra, the number of dharmas is declared in the ninth ground, and it is explained in two ways, a brief explanation and a detailed explanation, saying "one should do this, one should not do that." Among them, some grounds are said to have less purification, and some are said to have more, which only depends on the different capacities of the beings to be tamed. Some grounds are explained in two ways, abandoning what is to be abandoned and generating antidotes, and I think this also implies the places that are not explained. Second, it is explained with two verses such as "thinking." That is, to purify the higher intention in a non-clinging way, and to purify beneficial things because of not clinging to characteristics, and to generate compassion for all sentient beings because of not clinging to sentient beings.
