It extensively explains the three vehicles to be studied, whether in the ground of a Hearer, a Solitary Realizer, a Bodhisattva, or a Buddha. So it is said. In this regard, in "Complete," it is said: The three vehicles, that is, the cause for attaining the three kinds of enlightenment, because of the power of lineage and so on, one can also attain inferior enlightenment. Although it is said so, the three causes of Nirvana mentioned by Kulanda should be understood as the cause of the qualities of the fruit vehicle being completely fulfilled upwards. Second, divided into two, of which, the object is: form and so on, which are free from accumulation, arrangement, arising, and ceasing. The aspect is: emptiness by way of entering without dwelling and continuously without difference, and entering in the opposite way from dwelling. O Bhagavan, I have not known, not perceived, and not truly seen the accumulation and arrangement of form. So it is said. That name is neither dwelling, nor non-dwelling, nor separated from dwelling, nor not separated from dwelling. Why is that? Because that name does not exist. So it is said. Accumulation, arising, arrangement, ceasing, and not perceived, not seen, saying two words, is done in terms of two kinds of attention. Shantideva, after removing the arising and ceasing of form and so on, arising is: understanding others by name, ceasing is indicating others by name, and there are four kinds of dwelling separation and so on, of which two are not mentioned, because the two mentioned here are the main ones. So it is explained. Third, divided into two, of which, the object is: the dharma that is merely designated as a name. The aspect is: that cannot be expressed by any name. O Bhagavan, this is how the designated dharma with expression is, for example, whatever is called a Bodhisattva, whether it is a skandha, a realm, a source, or the eighteen unmixed Buddha dharmas, it cannot be expressed by any of them, it is only designated as a dharma. So it is said. The names of the Bodhisattva's dharma, as well as the Tathagata, the Solitary Realizer, Suchness, and the Buddha's dharmas, whether they are virtuous or non-virtuous, with or without faults, happiness or suffering, self or non-self, peaceful or non-peaceful, secluded or non-secluded, with or without characteristics, existent or non-existent, none of them can be expressed. So it is said. The second is: here it says "to that," and below it says "to" and so on.

This is to show the difference between the preliminary paths, great and small, indicated by that root and what it teaches, hence the mention of the word "location." This has two parts: explaining the distinctions and summarizing the meaning. The first has three parts: First, the object of focus for the small heat stage is the sixteen aspects such as impermanence, based on the four truths such as suffering, because it is the basis for cutting off superimpositions after understanding. What is the aspect of the object of focus? It is the prevention of clinging to suffering and other truths as impermanent, etc., and the prevention of superior abiding and complete knowledge, because emptiness is cut off by clinging to them. The terms "what is the object of focus" and "what is the means of focusing" should also be applied to all other aspects of focus. Thus, although there are many tenets regarding the aspects of focus, the meaning explained here is that the basis for complete understanding is the object, and on top of that, the meaning to be completely understood should be considered as different aspects of one thing, and the explanation that these two are superior is that the difference made by the mind that takes these two as objects is attributed to the object, because when explaining the difference of the aspects of focus, it is said to focus on the nature of the four truths, and to prevent manifest clinging, etc. Thus, since both the object and the aspect of focus are the same in being the object of focus, they do not become non-differentiated, because there is a difference in focusing on the basis of difference and the qualities of difference. The difference in cause is "heat, etc.," which is easy to understand. Second, the object of focus for the medium heat stage is that faith, aspiration, and the establishment and refutation made by children are not focused on, and the tathata-mindfulness of the noble ones does not see these two. In short, it is form, etc., distinguished by being separate from both affirmation and negation in that very nature. The aspect is that there is no characteristic of engaging in the same continuum of names or engaging in a dissimilar continuum of names in that object, meaning that neither of the two engages as an expression, which is realization, because of the realization that all names are non-existent. Among them, abiding in the sunlight is the similar continuum, and being separate from abiding is the dissimilar continuum. Thus, the teacher also established it, and its meaning is that Kulanta, with its self-characteristic clear and pervading all,
