Okay. Third, the cessation truth is a difference that negates the oneness of the other three. The other three, namely the noble one's meditative path truth and the two of suffering and origin, are substantial differences. The path truth of subsequent attainment is not contradictory to the suffering truth. The two of suffering and origin, the origin truth is pervaded by the suffering truth, but the suffering truth is not pervaded by it. For example, the alaya consciousness and the container world, as well as the five faculties and other unobscured, unspecified, contaminated phenomena. Fourth, why must there be four truths? Because the limbs of discriminative acceptance and rejection are necessarily twofold, black and white, and each of these is necessarily twofold, cause and effect. As it says in the Hearer's Ground: 'Therefore, in order to establish the cause and effect based on the black side and the white side, the four truths are established. Among them, the truth of suffering is the result, and the truth of origin is the cause. The truth of cessation is the result, and the truth of the path is the cause to be attained and known.' Furthermore, it is said that not all knowable things are included in the four truths, because suchness is not included in the four truths. Cessation through separate examination is the pacification of formations, but it is not the truth of cessation, and others are also not included. Fifth, first is the order that follows how the practitioner determines the path. As it says in the Uttaratantra: 'Disease is to be known, the cause of disease is to be abandoned, comfort is to be attained, medicine is to be taken. Suffering, its cause, its cessation, and the path, are to be known, abandoned, realized, and cultivated.' The Treasury also says: 'How do they realize the order?' The second part has two: separate explanations and summary of meaning. The first part has four: the result—suffering, the cause—origin, the result—cessation, the cause—the advice on the path truth. First, it is the teaching on the truth of suffering. That is, the emptiness of the five aggregates, such as form, which are contaminated and have become the result, and the Prajnaparamita, which is the object of realizing it, are one in nature with suchness, which is free from elaboration, and are not different. In this way, showing that the object and the subject are inseparable is also to prevent attachment to the Prajnaparamita from arising in the truth of suffering.

It is for the sake of. If you diligently practice the emptiness of form, it is called diligence. Similarly, diligently practicing the latter four aggregates, twelve sense bases, eighteen realms, four noble truths, twelve links of dependent origination, and twenty emptinesses is called diligence. So it is said. In the Hundred Thousand Verses and the Eighteen Thousand Verses, diligently practicing these seven emptinesses is called diligence. The meaning of this statement is: In the Destruction of Harm, it is said that the aggregates, sense bases, truths, dependent origination, all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are explained as the seven emptinesses of inherent nature. Thus, although one diligently practices the Mother with the seven emptinesses, it is not said to be diligent or not diligent. Because it is said in the sutra that diligently practicing the five aggregates is not seen as diligent or not diligent, therefore, it is said by negating the difference between the object and the subject. Secondly, it is to teach the aggregate of suffering as the truth of origin. What is that? It is said that the defiled and causal form, etc., are the origin, that is, arising and cessation, that is, extinction, and all afflictions such as attachment, and pure dharmas such as faith are not. The reason for this teaching is that the defiled and causal form, etc., and the emptiness of its own nature are non-dual and inseparable. Form is a dharma of arising, or a dharma of ceasing, or a dharma of affliction, or a dharma of purification, and cannot be truly seen. Similarly, after speaking of the latter four aggregates, it is finally said that consciousness itself is emptiness, and emptiness is consciousness. This shows that the defiled and causal aggregate does not have arising, cessation, and purification, in order to dispel the attachment to the truth of origin. Among them, form, etc., do not have arising, cessation, and purification. How is this established? It should be said that if form has arising, there will be four distinctions, that is, arising from self, arising from other, arising from both, or arising from no cause. Among them, the first is unreasonable, because the nature of the result is not established, and the cause is not established, so non-existence cannot be a cause. If the cause exists before the result arises, it is also unreasonable, because self-arising is the unity of cause and effect, and it is already established.
