In sequence, according to the four determinations of the Lesser Vehicle, and the path of seeing and meditation, which are the six dharmas to be realized, thus spoke the noble ones. If that is reasonable, these six similes are similes filled with Arhats such as Jambudvipa, and if they have taught the six dharmas, then the six dharmas themselves must become similes filled with Arhats, which is also unreasonable. Abiding in the six dharmas, as a simile of being filled, or saying "or" is meaningless, because for that, the simile and meaning are each determined. If someone says: You who have entered into practice, listen, and I will satisfy you with an immaculate answer. Here, among the non-learners of the Hearers, the most excellent in wisdom and miraculous powers are the supreme pair, and from them, it is also shown directly as particularly superior, then from their learners, it is also established as particularly entered. Therefore, for the directly shown simile, because one meaning guides the later simile, "or" is said, and for the six implied ones, "or" with choice is added separately. Then, how can the warmth, abiding between the path of meditation, be similar to the Dharma as a simile of being filled with reeds, etc.? In this regard, warmth is like a reed, because even small harms of karma and afflictions cannot be tolerated. The peak is like a light, just as it cannot be cut off by fire or weapons, even if it encounters fierce harms of karma and afflictions, it will not cut off the roots of virtue. Patience is like sugarcane, even if another birth is obtained, because the evil destinies are cut off, the continuity of the happy destinies will not be cut off, and it will not go beyond the possession of meditating on the Dharma. The supreme Dharma is like an arrow shaft, just as it pierces quickly, it enables the realization of the path of seeing. The path of seeing is like a fruit, because it is the supreme fruit of the realization of the noble ones. If someone asks: How is that the most supreme? There is no fault, because from the path of seeing, the realization of the Lesser Vehicle is complete, and for the nature of realizing the selflessness of the person, there is nothing more superior than that. The path of meditation is like sesame, just as the sesame's flowers and trees, etc., are of different kinds, but at other times the fruits are different, although the two paths of meditation and seeing are not different in realization, the ability to abandon what is to be abandoned by meditation is different.

Then, what does it mean to say "thicket"? It is to show that the warmth and so on of sharp, dull, and medium faculties, although different in nature, belong to the same category of warmth and so on. For example, reeds and so on, although there are many different in nature, belong to the same category. Then, what does it mean to say "or," a word with choice? It is to introduce the following examples. If so, then it is not appropriate to say "or" in the last example, because there are no following examples to introduce. If it is said that it is because there are no following examples to introduce, that is not established, because it is to introduce the example of the noble ones abiding in bliss in the present life. The reason why other examples are not mentioned is to understand that there are various kinds of bliss in the present life, and thus to understand the nature of the collection of these kinds. If examples are given one by one, then the examples will be close to being inexhaustible, and one will also become unskilled in explanation. However, in these translations, the word "or" does not appear in the last example. Here, the noble one said, "Monks like Shariputra and Maudgalyayana are completely filled," which refers to "those who are filled with the same realization as what was said," that is, connecting the six dharmas previously mentioned with those who are filled with the same realization. In this way, those who are completely the same as the unique pair of supreme ones, what is the basis of what is filled? From Jambudvipa to the realms of the ten directions, what is the basis of what is completely filled? The six, such as reeds, are examples of how it is filled. Among them, the example of the thicket of these six symbolizes the meaning of being filled. If it is said that the nature of the six examples also incidentally symbolizes the six dharmas, then it conforms to the noble one's statement. It seems that even the commentators have not had doubts about what the examples and meanings of these reasons are. For the bodhisattva who meditates on wisdom for one day, the noble one denied that they are those who, having entered the practice, do not regress and are bound by one lifetime. Therefore, superior to them are those who, with the mind arising from language, with the nature of completely non-regression, the bodhisattva who first generates the mind, the place where the first generation of the mind is shown, this is considered to be what is manifested here. Although one was spoken to those below the path of accumulation, it is thought that because this practice is the path of those four bodhisattva paths, they are all the basis, which is not contradictory. In the Annihilation Theory, thick and tall are divided into three types: large, medium, and small.
