The two paths are separate, each having entry and return, with the aspects of grasping at the object, grasping at substance, and grasping at imputation, thus having four to be abandoned. Therefore, their antidotes are the two paths of union and entry, thus four aspects. The seventh is the uninterrupted samadhi, which is the condensed meditation that has become excellent, becoming the actual cause of omniscience. The eighth, what is to be eliminated, the reversed establishment, is the ignorance that grasps the two truths as contradictory. If divided, there are sixteen. The second is that the eight things, from the sign to the reversed establishment of action, are the peak realization. Of these, the first seven are the nature of the peak, and the eighth is what is to be abandoned. The third has thirteen, of which the first is the gradualness of generosity, which is to apply the general characteristic of gradualness to generosity and meditate in sequence. Similarly, apply it to the other five as well. The gradualness of remembering the Buddha is to remember the qualities of the Tathagata in sequence, without focusing on the ultimate truth and without reversing the conventional truth. Similarly, in the place of "qualities of the Tathagata," add virtuous, non-virtuous, and unspecified dharmas, as well as the sangha of those who do not regress from the path of learning, as well as the three vows and the giving of material things, as well as the noble ones born as gods, thus it is the gradualness of remembering the Dharma, the Sangha, discipline, giving, and the gods. The gradualness of knowing the non-existent as self-nature is to realize that all dharmas are without self-nature in the ultimate truth, and then to meditate in sequence. Thus, the three kinds of remembering the Three Jewels and the remaining ten kinds are the gradualness. This method is also to take all practices that are gradually taken up completely, not separating them one by one. The first six are the nature of the gradual practice, the six remembrances are their state, and the last is the purification of grasping, so it is the pervader of all of them. Therefore, when practicing, take refuge in the Three Jewels, take the gods as witnesses, and remember the benefits of generosity and discipline. In short, remember the refuge and witness of the path and the benefits of the path, because all practices and remembrances are taken up by the last. Thus, it is also said in the Intent of the Able One, whatever six perfections, and the Buddha,
