Similarly, in the Compendium and the Mother Sutra, suchness is described with such names. In the Ornament of Realization, the ultimate reality is said to be the dharmadhatu, and it is for the purpose of revealing it that the Perfection of Wisdom is so called. In the Uttaratantra, the ultimate reality is said to be devoid of all characteristics of conditioned phenomena. Therefore, the peaceful realm that is empty of all elaboration and characteristics should be regarded as nirvana. The meaning of realizing it is also as explained in the third of the eight profoundnesses: one should focus intently on that single peace and constantly abide in it, not merely realize it directly. If one engages in this way on the path of learning, one will fall into the extreme of nihilism, because if one dwells constantly in the peaceful realm without completing the accumulation of merit, the form body will not appear in the subsequent attainment, and one will not be able to accomplish the benefit of others. If one perfects, ripens, and habituates oneself, even though one dwells constantly in the peaceful realm, one will spontaneously accomplish the benefit of others with both form bodies, and therefore one will not fall into peace. Therefore, the statement in the sutras that an eighth-ground bodhisattva will enter nirvana if not urged by the Buddhas also refers to this. Therefore, I have carefully examined how the manifestation of the signless realm can lead to two situations: not abiding in time and annihilationist nirvana. The "Eliminating Obstacles of the Three Mothers" states: "The object of knowledge of the aspects of the path, which is included in the bodhisattva ground, is called suchness. The object of knowledge of all aspects, which is the nirvana of shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, is called ultimate reality. The object of knowledge of all aspects, which belongs to the dharmakaya of the Buddha ground, is called the dharmadhatu." The sutra briefly states that there is no attachment to these three, and it merely lists the objects and numbers of the three knowledges. It is not necessarily the case that one must think in this way, as is clear in that commentary itself. The third part is divided into two: the question is from "Bhagavan" to "is." The answer is:
