The nature of a round flame and a smoky purple color is appearance, the fruit like smoke is a sign, and firewood is a cause, by what marks are the dharmas fully expressed, that is, the appearance, nature, sign, fruit, mark, and cause that are shown by symbols, all of which the Thus-Gone One has comprehended, therefore, he goes as the Buddhas of the past went, and knows the suchness of the dharmas as they are, therefore, the Thus-Gone One is the Arhat who has destroyed the afflictions, the Arhat who has comprehended the nature of the dharmas without error and has realized Bodhi, therefore, the Abhisamaya of the perfectly complete Buddha is called Omniscience. Secondly, as stated in the Intermediate Mother, all Abhisamayas are summarized by the three wisdoms, and it is also stated in the Condensed Eight Thousand. How is it that those who wish to study in the Hearer's ground should also study the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on, likewise, those who wish to study in the Pratyekabuddha, Bodhisattva, and Buddha grounds should also do so. The way in which the scripture becomes the knower is that Nirvana and so on, each of their wishes is the place of this occasion, and the Perfection of Wisdom is the three wisdoms. Therefore, the Abhisamaya of those individuals is established as the three wisdoms, because it is the mother that accomplishes their wishes. Thirdly, it is also stated in the Extensive Hundred Thousand. How is it that those who wish to attain the four fruits such as Stream-enterer, the ten grounds, and the qualities of the Buddha, are extensively spoken of separately, and here too, it is combined as before. Although there is no knower of brevity and extensiveness in the explanation of the Twenty-five Thousand, the teacher has added and quoted it here because he wants to explain the treatise as the ornament of the three mothers. So, what is the difference between the Condensed, Intermediate, and Extensive Mothers? The meaning to be expressed is summarized into the five aggregates, and the words to be expressed are also abbreviated in the first, the meaning is extensive and the words are slightly abbreviated in the intermediate, and both are extensive in the last, which is also explained by dividing it into one hundred and eight chapters. Among them, the fifty-three kinds of all afflictions are: the five aggregates, six faculties, six objects, six consciousnesses, six contacts, six feelings, six elements, and twelve links of dependent origination.

The fifty-five aspects of purification: The path of conduct is the six perfections. The path of view is the eighteen aspects of emptiness. The path of yoga is the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. The path of tranquility is the four noble truths, the four dhyanas, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, and the nine sequential abidings. The path of insight is the three doors of liberation. The path of special qualities is the supernormal knowledges, samadhi, and the doors of dharani. The path of fruition is the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, great compassion, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. The path of individuals is the stream-enterer, the once-returner, the non-returner, the arhat, the solitary buddha, omniscience, knowledge of the aspects of the path, and knowledge of all aspects. The third (knowledge of all aspects) has three parts: the basis knowledge, the path knowledge, and the identification of the all-aspect knowledge. First, regarding the three knowledges spoken of in the sutras, omniscience is that which focuses on the five aggregates of phenomena such as form, or on the four truths. Its aspect is dependent on the sixteen aspects such as impermanence, that is, it is an object-possessor. The result of that object-possessor understanding that object is that it abandons or causes to abandon the delusion of self of a person. Second, path knowledge is that which focuses on the three paths. Its aspect is the vehicle, that is, it definitely arises for the sake of others by generating and knowing the understanding of all three paths, according to the capacity of those to be tamed, and as long as the benefit of others is not completed, it does not manifest the true limit for its own benefit. It is an object-possessor. The result of that aspect of the object-possessor understanding that object is that it gathers sentient beings who have not been gathered into the retinue, and by gathering them, it matures them, and those who are matured are liberated, and those who are liberated are brought to completion. Thus, it is definitely arising, and it teaches the completion of all paths and so forth, which is wisdom. Because it does not manifest that nature, it teaches the meaning of not manifesting the true limit, which is compassion. Dromtönpa taught thus. In the Clear Words, it is also said that arising definitely by all vehicles means that one completely passes beyond suffering by all three vehicles according to the capacity of those to be tamed.
