It becomes a branch of enlightenment. There are twelve divisions. Third, the unsurpassed mental engagement of rejoicing is: with regard to the contaminated path of cultivation, one is extremely delighted in the virtues of oneself and others. The divisions are the two rejoicings with conventional and ultimate objects. The boundary from aspiration to this point is from the second to the tenth bhumi. Second, the uncontaminated path of cultivation has two aspects. Among them, the path of cultivation that manifestly accomplishes qualities is: the uncontaminated path of cultivation of the Great Vehicle, which becomes the cause of ultimate realization. The divisions are the five, such as the nature itself. Second, the path of cultivation called 'extremely pure' is: the uncontaminated path of cultivation of the Great Vehicle, which becomes the cause of ultimate abandonment. The divisions are the nine antidotes to the nine to-be-abandoned in cultivation. These two, in sequence, after perfecting realization and abandonment, considering the latter to be the defining characteristic of the path of cultivation is internally contradictory, because the abandonment of the two, abandonment and realization, is unconditioned. These five, from aspiration to the one called purity, are the path of cultivation. The second is: the knowledge of the path that knows the three paths is said to be represented by the three objects of the path. The third is, to whom does that knowledge of the path belong? It belongs to the bodhisattvas who are skilled in the two truths. The third has three aspects: the actual dharma of the base knowledge, how it is explained, and the individual who is the basis. First, among the nine dharmas: First, not abiding in existence with the knowledge that realizes the equality of the three times is the wisdom that averts the decline of existence with the wisdom that realizes selflessness. Second, not abiding in peaceful nirvana with compassion is the wisdom that averts the decline of peace with the power of a special generation of mind. Third, because it is not a means of generating the mother of the result, it is far from it, that is, the base knowledge that is bound by grasping the three, knowable objects, path, and result, as signs and is unable to act as its antidote. Fourth, because it is skilled in the means of generating the mother of the result, it is not far from it, that is, the wisdom that possesses excellent skillful means and wisdom. Fifth, the base knowledge of the discordant side is: because it is bound by the grasping that enters the reality of the base in a reversed manner, it is the base knowledge that is to be abandoned by the bodhisattva and abides in it. Sixth, the base knowledge of the antidote side is: because it realizes that the base is without self-nature, it is able to act as an antidote to grasping it as a sign.

It is known. Seventh, the application of the base knowledge is: The path of meditating by preventing attachment to the base form, etc., powerfully induces the application of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. There are ten types. Some consider this to be the path of application, but it exists between the path of accumulation and the peak of existence. Eighth, the equality of that application is: The state of meditating on the application of the base knowledge, which prevents the assumption of subject and object. The classification is: Each of the ten applications has four non-assumptions, totaling forty. Ninth, the direct teaching of the base knowledge, the path of seeing, is: The new vision of truth, free from the thirty-two additions and subtractions, powerfully induces the path of seeing of the inferior vehicle. Second is: The very nature of the base all-knowingness is considered to be as explained by the two aspects of incompatibility and compatibility. Third is: Whose is the base knowledge? It is of the Hearers and the Solitary Realizers, etc. Therefore, in the Chinese version seen by Zhongdunba, it is said that there is "the path of seeing of the Hearers, etc.", so it should be translated that way, and after that, add "the very nature of all-knowingness is considered to be like that." As it says in the Ornament of Realization: "From the eighth chapter of the Eight Thousand Verses, 'The Question of Subhuti', to the ninth chapter, 'There is no Dharma that is turned or stopped.' Subhuti is also the mother of the great Bodhisattva." Thus, the all-knowingness of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers is taught. This is said in the explanation of the nature and classification of the base knowledge. Therefore, this is a substitute for "of the Able One" for omniscience, and "of the skillful Bodhisattvas" for the path knowledge. Therefore, Jowoje (Atisha) said that the word "Bodhisattva" etc. is the first instrumental case. That is also the meaning of Ati, and that is also the meaning of supreme. Although this is the lowest of the three paths of seeing, it is not unreasonable to say that there is no fault because it is the highest of the six dharmas of realization of the Hearers and Solitary Realizers. In addition, when Ama Ra asked the young monks what the word "etc." included, they replied that it included the Solitary Realizers. Then, since there are no Solitary Realizers in the extensive explanation, and the Hearers are explained, it is said that the Solitary Realizers are also explained. If there is no difference between the two on the path, then there will be no difference in the result, which is also unreasonable. When it was answered that there was a difference, the young monks were silent. It seems that both Ama Ra and his disciples were proclaiming their own characteristics.
