No, it is said so. In "Clear Words," among the two, the essence and the Prajñāpāramitā that depends on it, the first is the Dharmatā of all dharmas, which, from the perspective of Dharmatā having dharmas, cannot be expressed as either the same or different. As stated in the Sutra: "Prajñāpāramitā is not a letter, because there is no one who teaches, listens, or understands it." If this is not understood, how can wisdom become transcendent? Therefore, the reason why the virtuous and extraordinary compounded phenomena of the mind are established as Prajñāpāramitā is also due to the power of understanding this. The second is: if the heart, which is the basis, is absent, the dependent mind will not abide. If that is absent, the body, including the senses, will not abide, just as the heart is extremely precious. Similarly, if Suchness is absent, non-conceptual wisdom will not arise relying on any object. If that is absent, the paths and treatises for attaining it will also cease to exist. Therefore, these three also depend on Svabhāva. Among these, non-conceptual wisdom is the main aspect of Prajñāpāramitā, because it is non-different from Svabhāva, and the paths and treatises are also practiced for its sake. Having said this, the previous quote was cited. This also considers the meaning of that quote to have primary and secondary aspects. The third is: In "Perfect Purity," it is said: "Because it is the best of wisdom, it is wisdom, because it focuses on emptiness." Wisdom is also that, and the other shore is also that, so it is the other shore of wisdom. Going is reaching, that is, reaching the other shore. Whose other shore? It is the conceptual thought of the noble Bodhisattva. For the Tathāgatas, it is the pure other shore. Why is it called Prajñāpāramitā on the path of application? Because it is the cause of that. Why is the Dharmakāya with activity called Prajñāpāramitā? Because it is the very fruit of that. It is said, and here, Prajñāpāramitā is non-conceptual wisdom, the antidote to the ten conceptual thoughts of distraction. This considers the Samādhis of the ten Bhūmis to be the nature of Prajñāpāramitā, and the state between the establishment of the ordinary being and the Buddha Bhūmi. The reason for thinking so is also that this is mentioned many times in the chapter on generating Bodhicitta, and because one should study Prajñāpāramitā desiring this. Then, Shariputra, how to Prajñāpāramitā

In response to being asked how to practice, he bestowed the sutra teaching practice and said to strive in Prajñāpāramitā to counteract the ten kinds of distracting conceptualizations. Therefore, it is said in the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra that counteracting the ten conceptualizations is its characteristic. It is not possible to counteract these conceptualizations merely through faith and practice, and since the Buddha is also free from the activity of counteracting, I thought that Prajñāpāramitā is so named. This view also accords with the *Mahāyānasaṃgraha*, which says, "To counteract these ten kinds of distraction, Prajñāpāramitā teaches the non-conceptual wisdom in all respects. Therefore, all the meanings of Prajñāpāramitā should be understood as including incompatible aspects and counteractions." Jñānapāda said, "Wisdom, in general, is the complete differentiation of dharmas. Its other shore, in the stage of faith and practice, is the conviction that all dharmas are without self. In the stage of great joy and so forth, it is the absence of all conceptualizations. Therefore, those who have become the nature of such an other shore are Prajñāpāramitā." Vimalamitra said, "The ultimate Prajñāpāramitā is the Dharmakāya, the characteristic of complete purity in all aspects. Other than that, the generation of bodhicitta, armor, entering, accumulation, and the practice of definite emergence are the nature of the cause." And, "When it is called the Prajñāpāramitā of the cause, it is the seventh case of location. When it is called the result, it is the seventh case of reason." Therefore, if the ultimate Prajñāpāramitā is considered the result, and the others are considered the Prajñāpāramitā of the cause, then the former is the seventh case of reason, just as watering a tree is said to be watering *for* it, which is for need and purpose. If the latter is the seventh case of location, it is the basis, just as a tree is said to be a habitat *for* birds. This is also the way the meaning is connected, that the profound practice itself *is* Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, both this and the former consider Prajñāpāramitā to be its characteristic on the path of learning. The second view is that those who think so
