Śika. Eka akṣara (Sanskrit Devanagari: eka akṣara, Sanskrit Romanization: eka akṣara, Chinese literal meaning: one letter). Few letters. The eleven, such as the Heart Sutra, are the sons. The difference between the sons and the mother is that they teach only the meaning without dividing the eight topics to be expressed and manifested, and that they teach by dividing them. Some say that the essences of the sun, the essence of the moon, Samantabhadra, Vajrapani, and Vajradhvaja are also Prajñāpāramitā, so both the meaning and the number of sons and mothers are wrong, which is well said. In particular, counting the Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā separately is said to be because even a book has not been seen. Because the Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā has eighty-seven chapters, of which the eighty-fourth is the summary. Therefore, it is also wrong to make the Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā the middle of the middle, and then to make the summary the summary of the summary. Therefore, the sutras that can be combined with the order of manifestation taught by this ornament are the root sutras of this. Also, it seems that the tradition of combining sutras and treatises was created by the noble one. Therefore, he divided the Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra into eight chapters and combined it with the eight occasions. Then, the monk combined the Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra. Now, it seems that there is only one Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra commentary said to have been made by this, which will be examined below. After that, the teacher did not make the Condensed Meaning Commentary Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra Eight Chapters and combined it. After that, Śāntipa made the Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra Commentary Dagldan and combined it, that is, there are four combined with the Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra. The explanation of the Hundred Thousand Verse Sutra, said to have been made by Kashmir Dharmasri, is combined with the Hundred Thousand Verse Sutra. The Ornament's Appearance, the Supreme Essence, and the Essential Moonlight are the three that are combined with the Condensed Mother. The Difficult Explanation Easy to Understand and the Difficult Explanation of the Condensed, and the Key to the Treasury of Prajñāpāramitā are the three that are combined with the Condensed. It is said that Smriti made the Hundred Thousand Verse Sutra, the Twenty Thousand Verse Sutra, and the Eight Thousand Verse Sutra, that is, the three mothers are shown to be in harmony with the eight meanings. Thus, if we compare the twelve commentaries combined with the sutras, the root sutras of this appear to be four or five. Among the commentaries that follow this mother's ornament, there are twelve combined with the sutras and nine not combined, for a total of twenty-one. The first has been explained. The second is the Commentary Meaning Clear. Its commentary is the Clear Words, etc.

. Difficult to understand appearances and duality. There are three condensed meanings. The one composed by Sherjung is the one with clear meaning, and the ones composed by Jowo and Zhonnu Pal are the condensed meanings of the root itself. The famous part and the Garland of Wisdom Lamp are all the ornaments of the intention of the Able One. This latter one is an independent treatise composed as a general commentary on the intention of all the scriptures of the Able One. Although it does not appear to have been composed as another commentary on the Ornament, it is counted because the latter three chapters mainly show the meanings of the Ornament of Clear Realization. Here, too, some individuals and so on are connected with the Sutra, but the majority is not large, so it is not counted among the Sutra combinations. The key to the treasury mentioned earlier does not seem to directly quote the words of the Sutra, but the condensed meaning items are cut off separately and combined with the Clear Realization, so it is counted as a Sutra combination. All of these commentaries are now known as Indian, but this commentary on the Hundred Thousand Verses, which is said to have been composed by the Kashmiri teacher Dharma Shri, does not appear to be Indian. This commentary combines the introduction and the praise, and also says, "The introduction extensively teaches, condenses and composes, and the praise is made with concise words." The quotation cited as knowledge comes from the treatise "Precious Lamp," and it is said to have been composed by a scholar after hearing rumors. In addition, regarding the explanation of the number of volumes of the Great Mother Sutra as three hundred volumes, and also in the context of instructions, it is said, "The rule of the scholar Pandit is to cut off the additions externally and observe externally, believing that examining the object can dispel the confusion of clinging. The rule of the Kusulupa is to cut off the additions internally and observe internally, believing that one must know oneself and that one realization must arise." And also in the stage of joining, it is said, "It is unreasonable to abandon conceptual thoughts with the Samadhi of definite determination of the Hearers. If there are none, there is no need to abandon them. If there are, they cannot be abandoned. One must recognize the nature of conceptual thoughts and then conceptual thoughts must appear as wisdom." Because there are many Tibetan words that do not appear in the works of Indian scholars. Therefore, although it is said that this and the Key to the Compendium were composed by Dharma Shri, I think they may have been made by a translator or another Tibetan. The three Mother Sutras agree with the eight meanings.
