Regarding desire, although the mother of the Bodhisattva is characterized by attributes, the view that the mother of the Hearer-Realizer is not characterized by attributes is refuted. This is because it is believed that (Prajnaparamita) is the nature of omniscience (Sarvakarajnana) and is solely the mother of the Buddha. Enough of elaboration. Second, if it is said, "In order to enter through meaning," then how does one enter? It is through reverence. To whom? To the person who desires to attain the qualities of Prajnaparamita, whether they are of sharp or dull faculties. To what? Although it is explained as being to the Prajnaparamita and the scriptures that rely on it, such as the Samadhiraja Sutra, it is not appropriate because it is the basis of words and meanings, so it is acceptable to reverse it. Therefore, it is to the Prajnaparamita Sutra, which expresses the three knowledges, and to the treatises that rely on that sutra. For what purpose? For the purpose of holding, reciting, understanding, and practicing yoga in all ways. From what cause? From great delight in the Prajnaparamita. Moreover, it is not only from hearing that delight arises, but from delight that reverence arises. What is the essence? It is extreme, that is, intense reverence. Because faith in something leads to the desire to seek its meaning, it is said that faith is the basis of desire. Therefore, although reverence appears here, it refers to the desire to seek the meaning of Prajnaparamita. Third, after seeking the meaning in that way, the three wisdoms of hearing, thinking, and meditating arise sequentially from hearing, and then one enters. Regarding these three wisdoms, the Vaibhashikas say, "The minds arising from hearing, etc., have names and both meanings as their objects." This means that hearing-born wisdom focuses on name alone, meditation-born wisdom focuses on meaning alone, and thought-born wisdom focuses on both. This view is unreasonable because thought-born wisdom cannot simultaneously grasp both name and meaning. If so, thought-born wisdom would not exist, because when the object is name, it becomes hearing-born wisdom, and when grasping meaning, it becomes meditation-born wisdom. Therefore, here it should be considered that the wisdom arising from listening to the scriptures is hearing-born wisdom, the wisdom that gains certainty from analyzing its meaning with reason is thought-born wisdom, and the wisdom arising from meditating on that certainty with one-pointed concentration is meditation-born wisdom. Second, by entering in that way, one will attain the supreme excellence of enlightenment.

It is said that entering the light lamp will obtain the three wisdoms. The third is: From faith arises respect, from respect arises entry, from entry one obtains the supreme goodness, therefore, extreme faith and respect for the Bhagavan Mother is the most important cause among all the causes for obtaining all goodness, as previously stated. Here, although "cause" is explained as the meaning of "main cause," it is also good to call it the "initial cause." Therefore, considering faith and respect as the initial cause of Bodhi, offerings and praises are made as a means to generate it. The second is: Regarding the qualities of the Mother, etc., there, by proclaiming the qualities of the three wisdoms, the Mother is praised. When this is indicated, if one thinks that the Mother is the nature of eight things, why is she only praised through the qualities of the three wisdoms, and not through the aspects of application and Dharmakaya? If there is doubt, there is no fault of smallness in praising through the aspect of the three wisdoms, because by praising through the aspect of the three wisdoms, one actually also praises through the remaining five aspects, but praising through the remaining five aspects cannot be accomplished, and there is also a special necessity to accomplish it by praising through the initial three aspects. In this way, keeping in mind both the reason and the necessity, the three aspects of omniscience praise the Prajnaparamita, but not through the remaining five aspects. The reason for this is that the three omnisciences encompass the eight meanings, and those that are encompassed are also fully possessed by the Prajnaparamita Mother. The necessity is: In order to show others that these three wisdoms can fully accomplish the wishes of the four sons in a way that can be distinguished from the perspective of the meaning of words. Because application and Dharmakaya are not the mothers of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, praising through these aspects cannot be understood as accomplishing the wishes of the four sons. However, the former is because the three include the eight, not only placing the three that can encompass in the object of reverence, but also actually placing the eight that are encompassed within it. The latter is that not only is there that reason for praising through the aspect of the three wisdoms, but there is also a necessity. Whatever those also are, refers to the eight meanings and what will be explained. The object is the three aspects, and the explanation of cause, etc., is for the meaning of the present occasion.
