The eye of Bodhicitta does not understand, and the divine eye is completely pure, by which one knows exactly how all beings in the eastern world, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, die and are born. Similarly, it is said for the other nine directions as well. The eye of wisdom is the realm of non-discrimination towards all conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. Possessing the eye of wisdom, one does not fully understand any dharma, whether it is conditioned or unconditioned, virtuous or non-virtuous, with or without fault, with or without outflows, with or without afflictions, beyond or not beyond the world, whether it is defilement or purification. With the eye of wisdom, the great Bodhisattva has not seen, not heard, not thought, not comprehended any dharma. This is the complete purification of the eye of wisdom of Shariputra, the great Bodhisattva. As the "Sunlight Sutra" also quotes, it does not understand anything about conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. In the "Hundred Thousand Verses" and the "Twenty-Five Thousand Verses," it also quotes the previously cited dharmas, that is, there is nothing that is not understood about any dharma, and there is nothing that has not been seen, not heard, not thought, not comprehended about any dharma. Regarding this, the noble ones and teachers consider the third eye to refer to non-discrimination towards anything, therefore quoting, "does not understand anything." In the two treatises, "Destroying Mara" and "Annihilation," regarding the recognition of this, it is said that "Omniscient Wisdom is the eye of wisdom," which is based on the sutra, "there is nothing that is not understood about any dharma." The Dharma eye is the realm of understanding the sharpness and dullness of the faculties of all noble beings, etc. The great Bodhisattva knows with the Dharma eye, "This person is a follower of faith," etc., thus declaring knowledge. The Buddha eye is the realm of complete enlightenment in which all dharmas of suchness and allness manifest in all ways. The great Bodhisattva, after the mind of enlightenment, abides in the Vajra-like Samadhi, and with the wisdom corresponding to a single moment of mind, directly realizes omniscience, which is the Thus-Gone One possessing the ten powers, four fearlessnesses, four analytical knowledges, and eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha.

I am endowed with great love and great compassion. There is nothing that the eye does not see, hear, think, or discern in all aspects. Shariputra, this is the Buddha's eye, completely pure, manifested in the unexcelled, perfect enlightenment of the Great Bodhi. Therefore, it is said in the scriptures that the physical eye can sometimes see a hundred yojanas, etc., which is determined by the order of the high and low levels of the Bodhisattva's ground and the magnitude of merit. The eyes of the gods, it is said in the scriptures that the divine eye of the Bodhisattva can know, that is, it knows the eyes of those gods and their objects, as well as the dhyana and samadhi of those gods. The gods of the desire and form realms cannot know what the divine eye of the Bodhisattva is like and its realm of activity. This is from the "Subduing Mara" chapter of the Hundred Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra. However, since the gods of the Pure Abode realm are definitely noble ones, it is said that they do not know, referring to the Shravaka noble ones. From the Three-Section Subduing Mara Sutra: The wisdom that penetrates all forms is the physical eye. The ability to know all dhyana and samadhi is the divine eye. Omniscient wisdom is the wisdom eye. Knowing what is and is not, these nine kinds of unawakened wisdom are the Dharma eye. The wisdom of the Vajra-like Samadhi is the Buddha eye. The Great Commentary says that the eye of maturation that sees all the large and small forms of the three thousand great thousand worlds through the power of cultivating the miraculous feet is the physical eye. The illusory eye that is achieved through cultivating the first dhyana, etc., is achieved through cultivating the first dhyana, etc., and is more excellent than the first eye, being able to see all the large and small forms of the ten directions and three times. Non-conceptual wisdom is the wisdom eye. To be able to engage unhindered in the twelve divisions of the scriptures is the Dharma eye. To comprehend all phenomena, such as contaminated and uncontaminated, is the Buddha eye. This is how it is explained, and except for the last one, the rest are in accordance with the Commentary. Furthermore, the Great Commentary says that the illusory eye is the result of karma and cultivation. The first is that the gods, through the power of their own karma, obtain the eye of pure sense faculty and thus see forms.
