Merely the imputed cessation truth, because the seed has not been uprooted. Some think that cessation truth pervades suchness, while others think the opposite, but both views have not been carefully examined. In the Compendium it says, "What is the characteristic? It is suchness, the path, and the non-arising of afflictions, that is, where it ceases, by what it ceases, and what ceases, so suchness is the object to be abandoned, the part destroyed by the path, which is said to be the nature of cessation." Also in the same text it says, "In this way, whatever defiled things cease in dependence on suchness, that is the characteristic of cessation." Therefore, since the obstructions removed by the path are also said to be cessation truth, the nature of selective cessation of both affirmative and negative must also be established there. For example, just as a place devoid of a pot and the obstruction of a pot on it are both 'without a pot,' so too, the suchness of the noble continuum and the obstructions to be abandoned on it by the path are both cessation truth, because it is the unconditioned that has abandoned the abandoned by the past path. Furthermore, what the Bhagavan calls the cessation of suffering is beginningless, unmade, unborn, inexhaustible, free from exhaustion, permanent, stable, peaceful, indestructible, naturally completely pure, liberated from all the aggregates of afflictions, undifferentiated, inconceivable, possessing Buddha-dharmas exceeding the sands of the Ganges, and is taught as the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata. Bhagavan, this Dharmakaya of the Tathagata, which is not liberated from the aggregates of afflictions, is called the Tathagatagarbha. As it is said, everything is detailed in the sutras, and the truth of the cessation of suffering should be understood as it is, as quoted in the commentary on the Uttaratantra. Therefore, the nature of mind transformed into stainlessness must also be considered as cessation truth. For cessation truth, it is not enough to be naturally pure, but it is necessary to destroy the objects to be abandoned by the power of meditating on the path. The weakening of the seed by the worldly path is also said to be the imputed cessation, that is, the nominal cessation. Second, in the Compendium it says, "What is the truth of the path? It is the path by which suffering is completely known,

Furthermore, abandoning arising, realizing cessation, and cultivating the path, this is a brief summary of the nature of the path. Moreover, there are five types of paths: the path of accumulation, the path of preparation, the path of seeing, the path of meditation, and the path of consummation. Following this statement, it is held that all five paths are the truth of the path. Some say that the paths of accumulation and preparation are merely the retinue of the truth of the path, and this is said with that in mind. In the commentary on the Compendium it says: "This detailed distinction should also be understood in terms of the truth of the path and its retinue." Others say that because the four qualities of the path and the qualities of purity, clarity, and antidote are not complete, and because they are the result and cause of the path of no more learning and the paths of accumulation and preparation, they are not the nature of the path, so only the paths of seeing and meditation are the nature of the path. This statement is also pleasing to the gods. In the commentary on the Uttaratantra it says: "This, by the reasoning previously explained, is the nature of the two truths of the perfectly purified Sugata, which are unborn and unceasing, possessing the Dharmakaya free from attachment." Furthermore, if the Buddha's conditioned realizations are not the path, then where should the four truths be placed? If there is any realization of the noble ones that is not any of the four truths, then who other than you could find this wisdom that is like the sky? If there is no reasoning to apply the antidote to what is to be abandoned in Buddhahood, no determination to go to Nirvana, and no practice, then how can there be the truth of the path? In Buddhahood, although there is no actual abandonment of what is to be abandoned, and there is no higher state to go to, there is the unobstructed power to destroy what is to be abandoned, and there is the perfect wisdom and mind to lead sentient beings to liberation, and the practice is not inverted. For both the vehicle and the path, the great ones have said both "going by this" and "going here," and here also thirty-nine aspects are said to be the truth of the path, so these investigations are futile. Furthermore, the paths of accumulation and preparation are the realizations that cause each of their own vehicles to proceed to enlightenment, and are the yoga of realizing selflessness, so they are the nature of the path. If it is said that because they cannot uproot the seeds of what is to be abandoned and only measure the general meaning of selflessness, they are not the path, then, if they are manifest...

It must not be what is to be abandoned, because if it is an antidote, it must only destroy the seed. If it is hidden, it must be pervaded by not understanding, because understanding in the manner of a general meaning is pervaded by not understanding it. Therefore, please acknowledge that, like distant benefit, as the valid cognition that cognizes objects, there is only direct perception. Furthermore, it should also be acknowledged that ordinary beings do not have entry into the path, do not practice through the union of skillful means and wisdom, and do not regress from complete enlightenment. Suffering and the path are also not necessarily contradictory, just like the two aspects of defilement and purification. It is not the truth of origin, because it must be either affliction or the karma caused by it, but it is neither of these two, because this is the supreme means of nirvana following the realization of selflessness, it cannot be the cause of rebirth, and it cuts it off. Then, in the Compendium it says: "Which worldly dharmas refute the possibility of rebirth and do not tend towards it, and generate the path that transcends the world, why are they included by the truth of origin?" Although they do not inherently tend towards the possibility of rebirth, they are, however, in accordance with the evil deeds of body, speech, and mind of the one who is reborn. Therefore, it should be known that they are also included by the truth of origin. If you say this, is it contradictory? There is no fault, because the sutra says that it is included by it only because it is the same as the origin of karma that throws rebirth, the cause of virtue and contaminated things. The second is that each truth has four aspects, sixteen in total. What are they? The first truth is impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. The second is cause, origin, arising, and condition. The third is cessation, peace, excellence, and definite emergence. The fourth is path, reason, accomplishment, and definite deliverance. The individual identifications of these sixteen are explained in the texts, so I will not speak of them. Then, why are they established as sixteen? In order to be the antidotes to the aspects of permanence, pleasure, self, and the view of self, in order respectively as the first
