Having illuminated the darkness with the light of the body, to make the beings born there hear the sound of the Three Jewels, and wishing to establish them in the correct view, and so on. The twenty-first, possessing the path of a single journey, is like the flow of a river. Because of realizing the equality of knowledge and the knowable, compassion and wisdom naturally enter, and without interruption, the activity of benefiting others is non-different, that is, without discrimination, it enters. In each of the ten directions, in the infinite realms of the world, beings who are blind, deaf, mad, naked, hungry, thirsty, and so on, and those who fall into the lower realms, are to be liberated from those sufferings, and to obtain a human body, and wishing that they also abide in the five uncontaminated aggregates, and so on. This shows that even for those beings who are extremely suffering, they should be liberated from that suffering and established in the unsurpassed Bodhi, therefore these were spoken. The twenty-second, possessing the Dharmakaya, is like a cloud. Abiding in the Tushita heaven and so on, being able to universally show the twelve deeds, because this depends on the ripening of the crops of benefit and happiness for beings. In order to show the conduct of the Great Bodhi Tathagata, and the conduct and pure discipline of the Tathagata, and all the activities of his body, speech, and mind, which are completely pure with wisdom as the forerunner, and wishing to look with the posture of an elephant, therefore one should learn the Prajñāpāramitā and so on. These are in order to teach the Dharma to all beings without obstruction through the activities of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind, and so on. The twelve deeds are: From the Uttaratantra: Great compassion knows the world, having looked upon all the world, without moving from the Dharmakaya, with various natures of emanation, showing birth, descending from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in the arts, delighting in the company of consorts, renunciation and practicing austerities, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the armies of Mara and perfecting, the wheel of Dharma of Bodhi.
