In short, if that's the case, it becomes no different from the subsequent answer. If it's said that the aspiration is directed towards Bodhi for the sake of others, that itself is the point of contention, because the aspiration as a cause is directed towards Bodhi. The opponent's thought is that if it's said to be "desire," then it's a mental factor, and therefore contradicts the generation of Bodhicitta. The point of contention is not whether aspiring for the benefit of others and Bodhi is a mental factor, and aspiring for other things is not a mental factor. The second imputed dharma is the aspiration that becomes a companion, which is directed towards perfect Bodhi for the sake of others. Thus, it seems that these two debates and answers both consider the mind and mental factors to be different entities, and many great chariot masters of India, such as the brothers Asanga and Vasubandhu, have also explained it that way. There are many things to be said about this principle, but I have not written them for fear of too many words. In the Clear Words it says: Since the generation of Bodhicitta is in accordance with both aspiration and compassion, why is it said to be in accordance with aspiration alone? The answer to this question does not seem to be in accordance with (Tsongkhapa's) intention. The second (part) has four points: connecting with a question; answering with a sutra; the meaning proven by the question and answer; the reason for not quoting other sutras. The first point is: From what is it known that perfect and complete enlightenment is the nature of what is to be desired, the object to be attained? From what is it known that benefiting others is the necessity for accomplishing the generation of Bodhicitta, the object to be worked for? Furthermore, it is not only explaining the nature, but the sutra also establishes it. The second (point) is divided into two parts. The first point is that Bodhi is the object to be attained, and benefiting others is the object to be worked for, both of which are explained in the Mother Sutra through the two ways of brief and extensive explanation, so saying that the generation of Bodhicitta is desiring perfect Bodhi for the sake of others is according to the Mother Sutra, in accordance with it, and not arbitrarily. The second part is divided into two points: how Bodhi and benefiting others as objects are explained in the sutra. The first point is: the nature of the generation of Bodhicitta should be understood as not contradicting the meaning of the Mother Sutra, that is, in accordance with it. How is it in accordance? It has been explained. Where has it been explained? In the desire for perfect and complete enlightenment. Through what means has it been explained? Through the means of brief and extensive explanation. From where has it been explained? From the Victorious Ones'

In short, it comes from the three types of Prajnaparamita Sutras: the extensive, the medium, and the concise. Among them, "also" means mutual inclusion. Some say that because these sutras are not found in the Eight Thousand Verse Sutra, the concise version should refer to the Eighteen Thousand Verse Sutra. However, according to the commentary on the Ornament of Clear Realization, the White Lotus, it should refer to the Eight Thousand Verse Sutra. This is because this teacher believes that although the three Prajnaparamita Sutras have differences in the complexity of their words, they have no difference in meaning. Therefore, this treatise is considered an ornament of all three Prajnaparamita Sutras. Thus, this treatise and the Three Wisdoms are the means of understanding the realizations of the Four Sons, and also the necessary connection. The meaning of the phrase "all three Prajnaparamita Sutras" in the sutra is also this. So, which sutra passage is it? "Shariputra, if someone wants to realize complete perfect enlightenment in all dharmas, in all ways, they should practice or strive in the Prajnaparamita." This refers to understanding it as the object of wanting to attain Bodhi, that is, briefly proclaiming the desire to attain Bodhi with language that has meaning to be explained. Among them, "this" here refers to the Mahayana or Prajnaparamita, "all ways" refers to the two ways of the two truths, "realizing" above refers to the result, "Prajnaparamita Sutra" refers to the cause, and "striving" refers to the perfect application. This is the conclusion drawn from the Chapter on Subduing Demons. After saying this, in response to the question of "how to strive," it is said: "Shariputra, if someone wants to abide in the Prajnaparamita in a non-abiding manner, because they do not cling to giving, giving away, and receiving, they practice giving in a non-giving manner; because there is no action of falling or not falling, they maintain discipline; because there is no quarrel, they practice patience; because the diligence of body and mind is not lazy, they practice diligence; because there is no tasting of flavors, they practice meditation; because they do not cling to wisdom and the distraction of wisdom, they should perfect the Prajnaparamita." That is to say, from giving and so on up to wisdom, for all objects of giving, the giver and the receiver, etc., as well as the one who maintains discipline, the discipline, and the three of breaking the discipline, similarly, for others, one must also recognize that each individual has three things to be abandoned when practicing the Paramitas, recognize the emptiness of the three wheels, and then practice these Paramitas, that is, one should perfect them. This refers to understanding it as the object of wanting to attain Bodhi, that is, explaining in detail the desire to attain Bodhi with language that has meaning to be explained. Thus, the first sutra passage briefly
