If it corresponds to the two, then this root sutra can be clearly identified as four or five parts. Like this, the commentaries that follow this "Ornament of the Mother Sutra" also include twelve commentaries connected to the sutra and nine commentaries not connected, totaling twenty-one. The first one has already been explained. The second is the "Commentary: Meaning Clear." Its commentaries are "Words Clear" and "Difficult to Understand Appearances," two types. And the "Condensed Meaning," three types. Among them, the one written by Sher Jung is "Meaning Clear," and the ones written by Jowo (Atisha) and Zhonnu Pal are the "Condensed Meaning" of the root text itself. "Part of Fame" and "Garland of Wisdom Light," two, are all ornaments of the intention of the Thuba (Shakyamuni Buddha). This latter one is an independent treatise composed as a commentary on the intention of the general teachings of the Thuba, but although it does not appear to be composed as another commentary on the "Ornament," it is counted because the last three chapters mainly explain the meanings of the "Manifest Realization Ornament." Here, too, some individuals connect some content to the sutra, but since the number is not large, it is not counted among the commentaries connected to the sutra. The previously mentioned "Key to the Treasury" does not appear to directly quote the words of the sutra, but it is counted among the commentaries connected to the sutra because it divides the summarized points one by one and connects them to manifest realization. All of these commentaries are now considered Indian, however, this "Hundred Thousand Verse Commentary" said to be written by the Kashmiri teacher Dharma Shri is clearly not Indian, because this commentary combines the introduction and praise, and quotes a passage from the "Jewel Lamp Treatise" as evidence, saying, "Elaborately explain the introduction, summarize the meaning, and create the praise with concise words." It is said that this treatise was created by scholars through oral transmission. Furthermore, regarding the "Great Mother Sutra," there is a saying of three hundred volumes, and in the context of pith instructions, it is also said that according to the rules of wise panditas, cut off the superimpositions externally, observe externally, and believe that by observing external objects, the confusion of clinging to them can be reversed. According to the rules of the Kusalupas, cut off the superimpositions internally, observe internally, and believe that one must generate a single realization of knowing oneself by oneself. And in the context of the path of application, it is also said that it is unreasonable to abandon conceptual thoughts with the samadhi of the Hearers' determination, because if they do not exist, there is no need to abandon them, and if they exist, they cannot be abandoned. Only after recognizing the nature of conceptual thoughts,

It is necessary to have a way to transform conceptual thoughts into wisdom. Because there appear many Tibetan words that do not appear in the writings of Indian scholars. Therefore, it is said that this book and the "Key to the Compendium of Categories" were written by Dharmaśrī, but I think it may have been written by a translator or another Tibetan. Explaining in a way that combines the three mother scriptures with the eight topics, this method is less effective, and there are some defects in the scriptures and the way of combining them, so it is necessary to examine whether it was written by the great scholar Smṛti Jñānakīrti. The "Commentary on the Compendium of Categories" is easy to understand, and Sūnyaśrī's commentary is consistent in tone with the great commentary, so it is said to have been written by the teacher. Some say that the "Three Hundred Thousand Verses" and the "Great Self" should not be considered as merely explaining the Abhisamayālaṅkāra, but in Candrakīrti's writings, rebuttals are made against Siṃhabhadra's "Commentary on the Compendium of Categories," so I wonder if this is really the case. The "Lamp for the Collection of Meanings" is also less effective, and many Tibetan words appear in it, so I think it was written by a disciple of Atiśa or another Tibetan. The four founders of the chariot tradition and the number of the sutras, as well as what are the root sutras of the Ornament, and the correct and incorrect points of the Indian commentaries, first, the methods of studying these in detail are explained. The extensive explanation of the Prajñāpāramitā Upadeśa scripture, the Abhisamayālaṅkāra, and its commentaries, called "The Golden Rosary of Good Explanations," was written by the widely learned Losang Drakpa (Tsongkhapa), and this is the preliminary part of explaining the method of the text. So, since there are many commentaries on the Ornament, which one should be relied upon here for explanation? Here, we will explain based on the commentary "Meaningful Illumination" written by the teacher Siṃhabhadra, because it is concise, explains the meaning clearly, and is therefore superior to other commentaries. When explaining this treatise, there are also three common points: the name that expresses meaning, the text that contains meaning, and the colophon of who translated it. The first part is divided into two points: the direct statement and the incidental mention. The first part is divided into three points: translation of the name, explanation of the name, and the necessity of the name. The first point is: The word India (རྒྱ་གར།) is mentioned in the Vinaya Texts: 'Śrāvastī and its nearby Campā, Vārāṇasī, Vaiśālī, and Rājagṛha are the sixth, these are called great cities.' Therefore, it is a conventional term for the region where the six great cities are located, that is, the place.
