Ma pa'o. In this regard, it is not like a crow's reconnaissance, but there is a general necessity; moreover, this necessity is not like a treatise for taking the crest jewel of the Lord of Freedom, but it is able to accomplish; the necessity of being able to accomplish is not like taking a widow as a wife, but it is for the supreme goal of life; the method of accomplishing this supreme goal is not like not relying on treatises and performing animal sacrifices for the sake of heaven, but it is only because one sees the connection with this treatise that one enters, so it is determined to be four. More than this is unnecessary, and less than this is incomplete. How is it understood? Generally speaking, in order to enter for the sake of that result, one must see obtaining that meaning as a special way to accomplish one's own needs. There are two reasons for not entering: either one cannot generally accomplish that meaning; or even if one can accomplish it, one does not enter because one thinks that one cannot accomplish it from this treatise. Therefore, there is a general necessity, and in particular, it is shown to possess the supreme essence of what is desired, so the thought of entering for that meaning arises. Moreover, because one understands such an object of expression, one can accomplish it, and it is shown that the method also exists in this treatise, so these two obstacles will be eliminated, so four is enough, and if any one is missing, a rational person will stop entering, so less is not possible. In this way, even if one wants that result and also thinks that there is a way to accomplish it in the treatise, but does not enter, then what is the use of faith in entering the treatise for the sake of pursuing liberation? One should still be sent to the classroom to learn the alphabet. Buddhaśrī excluded the four extremes of unspeakable, unachievable, undesirable, and unrelated. Although it is possible to explain the object of expression and necessity in the opposite way to what was said before, I do not think it is appropriate. Some say that in the "Brief Explanation of Supreme Bliss," five kinds of perfect expressers are mentioned, and Kashi mentions three things: the object of expression, necessity, and relationship, so it is not a fixed number of more or less. This is unreasonable, because for a rational person, the good organization of the expresser is not the main reason for entering, and saying three is because one wants to combine the two necessities. The third is

Thirdly, regarding the connection: What is the connection between stating the words of purpose and connection after the homage? The implication of the homage is that one vows to compose a treatise that explains the three wisdoms. Since the three wisdoms encompass the eight topics, it is actually vowing to write for the purpose of explaining the eight topics. For those two types of people who lack faith and wisdom, those with inferior intelligence may doubt, what is the purpose or necessity of the Blessed One, the Noble One, the Unconquered One, that is, the difficult-to-overcome objects to be abandoned, the Victorious Maitreya again explaining these eight Abhisamayas? Is there no purpose? In order to dispel this doubt, and because the meaning expressed by the words of purpose and connection, that is, the four necessities, etc., almost exist? Due to the arising of doubt about the transformation of meaning, that is, not intentionally, the eight topics to be expressed in Maitreya's own treatise, the Ornament of Clear Realization, and the easy realization of the necessity, and the necessity of the necessity being related to the Dharmakaya, since it is not explicitly stated, therefore, these are spoken to explain that the necessity exists within the meaning. This "ཏེ་" is to quote the root, and it should be understood in the same way elsewhere. The reason for such doubt is that the Blessed One, with compassion, intends to benefit the three types of sentient beings with dull, middling, and sharp faculties who have faith in the extensive, intermediate, and concise versions. Hasn't the compassionate Blessed One already clearly explained the order of the eight Abhisamayas and all the meanings of the Prajnaparamita from the extensive, intermediate, and concise Prajnaparamita Sutras? Therefore, there is no need to write for any of these three types of disciples, because their benefit has already been accomplished. Thinking this, doubt arises. What is the necessity of arising doubt? It becomes a branch or cause for entering a treatise with theory. Here, let's examine a little the nature of a treatise that possesses the four necessities, etc., and its two ways of explanation. First, it is divided into two parts: explaining other tenets and identifying the reasonable aspects. The first is: In the Abhidharmakosa, it says: "Eighty thousand aggregates of Dharma, those spoken by the Buddhas, those are words or names, those are included in form and formations." Among them, words and names are only symbolically represented. In reality, the collection of words, names, and letters are all the Buddha's words.
