Although there is no difference in abandonment (of afflictions), there is a difference in whether or not one engages in benefiting others. The Compendium states: "For those who abide in the realm of nirvana with remainder, there is the establishment of being with obscurations and without obscurations. But for those who abide in the realm of nirvana without remainder, there is no establishment of obscurations. Why is that? Because all characteristics and all bad rebirths are completely cut off and ceased." If there is no obscuration for them, just as the Tathagata does not possess them, and the Arhat also has no obscurations, then why does the Arhat not perform the deeds of the Tathagata? It is said that it is because they have not cultivated aspirations in the past, and because they are of such a lineage. The Arhat is completely liberated only without the thought of arising, therefore they do not act. Thirdly, in general, four types of nirvana appear in the scriptures: the nirvana of nature, the non-abiding nirvana, the nirvana with remainder, and the nirvana without remainder. The first of these is: the nature of all phenomena is free from all elaborations. The second is: the Buddha's

Grasping at the self of a person is the root of all afflictions and sufferings, and by realizing the selflessness of a person through the basis of consciousness, self-grasping is destroyed, and by its cessation, one is liberated from all suffering and attains nirvana. As it says in the Samadhiraja Sutra: "If one thoroughly contemplates the dharma of selflessness, and after examining them, meditates, the result is the attainment of nirvana. Other causes cannot bring peace." Thus it is. Second, is accomplishing. This also has four as before. First, as it says in the Samadhiraja Sutra: "This is the path to obtain nectar, abandon the wrong path and rely on this path. If you see sentient beings with wrong views, you should inform them, therefore they are called Bodhisattvas." Thus, Bodhisattvas, for the benefit of those to be tamed, until samsara is empty. Second, by realizing that all three paths are unborn in the ultimate sense, and in the conventional sense, realizing the nature of cause, essence, and effect. Third, it is the accomplishment of the benefit that all beings desire, higher realms and definite goodness. Fourth, in order to show the path to others without error, one must first realize the path as it is, as it says in the Pramanavarttika: "The means arise from that cause, because it is hidden, it is very difficult to explain it." Thus it is. Third, is circumambulating. This has four, with what as the basis? With the Thubpas (the capable ones), that is, the lords of bodies whose body, speech, and mind are completely restrained from all faults, and so on, the lords of yoga who are superior in yoga to them, that is, the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, and those who are superior in abandonment and realization to them, that is, the chief of them, the Buddhas like the jewel on the crown. By what means? By the omniscient knowledge that understands all phenomena as unborn. If asked, since the general characteristic is sound, how can it be understood as the specific omniscient knowledge? Answer: Although it is the general characteristic of sound, it is understood because it is related to the excellent Thubpas and so on. Furthermore, in the praise of the three knowledges, it is understood because it is the remainder after praising the two knowledges, and it is also understood as omniscient knowledge through the power of meaning, just as it is understood as a person. What is the result? Explaining the Dharma of scripture and realization, from one to one.

It seems that it is transferred to other traditions at some point, therefore it is all the wheels, that is, all the forms of the sacred word contained in the eighty-four thousand. The reason for repeating "all" and "everything" is to show that it is not a fleeting situation like using "all" for each aspect because of the desire to express. For what purpose? In order to counteract the three poisons and the equal parts of these three poisons, that is, each root is divided into twenty-one thousand parts, thereby counteracting the eighty-four thousand afflictions. So, what is the so-called "Dharma wheel" like? There are four points to this: the nature of the Dharma wheel, the meaning of the word, the classification, and the quantity. The first point is: the Vaibhashikas believe that only the path of seeing is the Dharma wheel. Because the Dharma was taught to the five monks in Varanasi, when Kaundinya arose the path of seeing, the Yakshas proclaimed that the wheel of Dharma was turned, and they thought that the path of seeing was similar to the wheel jewel. How is it similar? The path of seeing quickly realizes the truth, so it is running fast; abandoning the object and aspect of the previous truth, entering the later truth; the uninterrupted path cuts off the attainment to be abandoned, so it turns from never victorious to victorious; the path of liberation leads to the separation attainment separated from the abandonment, so it is to settle the victor; because it is based on the truth of the upper realm, so it is rising; because it is based on the truth of the lower realm, so it is falling, it has these similarities. The Treasury of Knowledge says: "The wheel of Dharma is the path of seeing, running fast, etc." The Venerable Melodious Voice believes that the eightfold noble path itself is the Dharma wheel, because it is similar to the supporting center, the cutting spokes, and the gathering rim of the wheel. How is it similar? The Vinaya says: The three marginal lives are similar to the center, because these three are the precepts of discipline, the basis of meditation and wisdom. View, thought, and diligence are similar to the spokes, because it is the learning of wisdom, which can cut off the unfavorable aspects. Samadhi is similar to the rim, because view, etc. hold the object in a focused manner. He thinks like this. The Treasury of Knowledge says: "Outside the spokes, etc." These are confused because they are attached to the argument of a single aspect, so these views are abandoned.
