By abandoning hesitation and fear, it can also be connected and explained that one can attain the sixth bhumi. However, the teacher, in accordance with the case of the seventh bhumi, said that by perfecting the six perfections, one abandons the six things to be abandoned, so it is explained here in the same way. Among the six perfections, for the sake of others, giving away wealth, children, wives, and one's own body and life, the nature of these three kinds of giving, small, medium, and large, perfects the perfection of giving, thereby abandoning the mind that desires to attain the enlightenment of the Hearers; mainly abandoning the attention that clings to one's own benefit, perfecting the perfection of discipline, thereby abandoning the mind that desires to attain the enlightenment of the Solitary Realizers; although the former can abandon the latter, the Solitary Realizer is superior to the Hearer, so desiring the latter is more difficult to reverse than desiring the former, and discipline is more difficult to perfect than giving; when discipline is perfected, the vows of the Bodhisattva are free from all faults. Because the perfection of patience that does not fear emptiness is perfected, thereby abandoning the mind that fears the absence of inherent existence; because the perfection of diligence that delights in giving is perfected, thereby abandoning the dejected mind that is initially overwhelmed by stinginess when requested by a beggar; because the perfection of concentration that focuses single-mindedly on giving is perfected, thereby abandoning the mind of displeasure in the middle, when all possessions spontaneously enter into the state of giving; because the perfection of wisdom that understands the benefits of giving is perfected, thereby abandoning the situation where, in the end, even if one is poor, one cannot obtain the situation of a beggar. These are twelve. The last three things to be abandoned, as explained in the Lamp of Wisdom, are explained by combining the three situations of beginning, middle, and end, and it is also said there that by perfecting the six perfections, one can abandon the six things to be abandoned. However, the sutra says, "Do not be displeased by giving away all things." The root text also says, "Having given away all possessions, one should not be displeased." Therefore, when understanding the meaning of abandoning the fourth and fifth things to be abandoned, it refers to the unwillingness to give, and not only that, but also to having no regrets after giving, but the fifth situation does not refer to being displeased at the time of giving. The first two situations are directed at the situation of having something to give, and the sixth situation is directed at the situation of not having something to give, because "even if poor" means that if there is something to give, not only does one not abandon the beggar, but even if one is poor, one must abandon the mind of displeasure towards him.

Because it is not abandoning with the intention of abandoning, if it is not abandoning with the substance of abandoning, then the cause of generosity will not lead to poverty. Thus, regarding the meaning of abandoning the dislike of engaging in giving, it is easier if it is done with things that have already been given away. The great charioteers of the snowy land, with the concentration focused solely on the benefit of others, and the discipline of abandoning self-interest, these two serve as the abandonment and antidote for the first two, and with generosity and diligence, these two serve as the abandonment and antidote for the fourth and fifth two, and the remaining two as before. The last three are the obstacles of beginning, middle, and end, and explaining the sixth non-abandonment as non-abandonment with substance is not easy. If these two sets of abandonment and antidote are combined, they must be combined sequentially, like the abandonment and antidote of the seventh ground. The second is, all-knowing, which is attainable. Where, the ground, etc. Why is it said that way? Wisdom, Based on the Perfection Mother, Samsara and Nirvana, Because both appear here, It is said to be the ground of manifestation. Because, relying on the Prajñāpāramitā, it is proclaimed that the equality of Samsara and Nirvana, which does not abide at the extremes of existence and peace, is manifested. By what? Like that, etc. The manner is, as before. The seventh ground also has two, what is to be abandoned and the antidote. The first has two, the first is, where are the twenty faults explained, that is, by abandoning those, the seventh ground is attained. What are the twenty, "self" and "sentient beings," etc., three verses. The great Bodhisattva, abiding on the seventh ground, does not do twenty things. What are the twenty? Like this, from grasping at self to being contrary to emptiness. The second has two, the nature of the twenty to be abandoned and the reason for attaining by abandoning those. The first is, the first fourteen and the last two are clinging to extremes, and the clinging to the extremes of the four, refuge in the Three Jewels and discipline, as explained in the Ornament of Clear Realization. Although others explain this and the following two antidotes separately, the teacher combines them according to the order of abandonment and antidote, and in accordance with that, it also appears in the Lamp of Wisdom, therefore the twenty faults are explained together with the antidotes, because it is easier that way. The second is, all-knowing, which is attainable. Where, the ground, etc. Why is it said that way? Because it is connected to the one path. Long practice.
