There is nothing to cling to in the basis of arrogance and pride of "superiority." Inversion means that virtue and non-virtue are respectively to be practiced and abandoned, but they are reversed, or that the dharmas of the two appear to be truly existent and are clung to. The antidote is to be separated from clinging to things. The view of the Sutra is that although the latter is obtained, the former is clearer in the meaning of inversion, so there is no contradiction. Bad wisdom is that in the appearance of adornment, seeing the collection of fears, etc., as bad wisdom, and extracting the final view from the word "etc." Although both have what is to be abandoned by meditation, so there is no contradiction with the common language, here, by saying "inverted views, etc., are bad wisdom," it is clear that the teacher's view includes all five views. Moreover, the views are afflictive wisdom, and fundamentally, "bad wisdom" refers to bad intelligence, and the two have the same meaning, so it seems to be thought. Or, the word "doubt" appears in this Sutra, and because it is to be abandoned by seeing, if it is not cited, it should not be cited, but because it is cited, the five views should also be cited, because the reason is the same, so it seems to be thought. Then, among the afflictions, why are only the three views and doubt said to be abandoned by seeing? Because in the view of the perishable, the aggregates are only clung to the dharma, and the dharma is only clung to the extremes of permanence and annihilation, and clinging to these views as superior, etc., so for the self-grasping of dharma, it is also possible to establish a category with the same name, so there is no fault. Or, saying that it is to be abandoned by seeing is only rough, and what is said here refers to the possibility of abandoning it in the evil realms, etc., so there is no fault. Citing "and hesitation" is in accordance with "doubt" in the Sutra, and the antidote is to see that all dharmas are separated from hesitation. Affliction tolerance is that for all afflictions such as desire, manifesting inclination, indulging the mind, is called indulgence, and there are ten types. The antidote is to realize that desire, etc., are unobtainable. The second is obtaining. Where? On the ground, etc. Why should it be said like that? In order to fully ripen sentient beings and protect one's own mind. Those with wisdom are difficult to tame, so it is called difficult to tame. Because it is dedicated to ripening sentient beings and its perversion.

It is said that Upagupta (Tibetan: ུབ་) said that by not letting one's mind become afflicted, two things can be accomplished. By what means? By completely abandoning the ten characteristics of what should be abandoned, and by the antidotal dharmas that are the opposite of what should be abandoned, that is, by the ten kinds of complete purification that are thrown out by the meaning of abandonment or by force. "Thrown out" refers to the treatises, but in short, it is the antidote that is directly stated. The manner is as before. The sixth is divided into two parts, the first of which is: To be attained. Where? In the sixth ground. How? By being truly and completely perfected, by the perfection of generosity to wisdom, and by abandoning the two joys of wanting to attain the ground of the Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas, and by abandoning the minds that are afraid of the profound meaning, and when wealth is abundant, when a beggar comes to beg, the initial thought of not wanting to give disappears, so there is no discouragement when begging, and even if all possessions are abandoned, there is no regret in the end, so there is no displeasure, and even if one is poor and miserly, the thought of abandoning the beggar does not arise, so the beggar is not abandoned, by abandoning the six things to be abandoned. The Bodhisattva abides in the sixth ground and should perfect the six dharmas, which six? That is, the six perfections. Furthermore, six dharmas should be completely abandoned, which six? That is, one should completely abandon the mind of the Hearer, from "when seeing a beggar, one should not be disturbed by the beggar, one should completely abandon the mind of disturbance" to this point. Here, the sutra says that abiding in the sixth ground, one should perfect the six perfections from generosity to wisdom. To prove this, abiding in these six perfections, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and the Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas, have reached the other shore of the five oceans of knowledge. They will reach the other shore. Which five? That is, the past, the future, the present, the inexpressible, and the unconditioned. The second part is divided into two parts: the nature of purification and the way of becoming completely purified. The first part is, the sutra says that abiding in this ground, six paths arise and six non-paths are abandoned, in accordance with the statement divided into two parts, therefore it says: "Meditation and wisdom are perfectly complete, the sixth ground is attained," and "good".
