It should be done like this. For the origin, the eight wrong views other than the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of clinging to extremes will enter. As is the origin, so are the cessation and the path. For the upper realms, except for anger, the others enter into wrong views in the same way as in the desire realm. It should be understood that in the remaining truths of the three realms, the first two views are abandoned, so in general, they are said to be the four that are abandoned by the path of seeing. Third, in the Treasury it says: "Those ten and seven, seven eight, except for three or two views, in desire, suffering etc., are abandoned in sequence by the path of seeing." And "Except for anger, those same, the form realm and the formless realm are the same." It means that in the desire realm, there are ten for suffering, for the origin and cessation, the first two views, and for the path, the last supreme attachment, that is, three and the first two views. Only abandoning, so for the four truths, they are sequentially ten, seven, seven, eight. In the upper realms, anger is also abandoned, so for the four truths, they sequentially enter into wrong views as nine, six, six, seven, so in general there are eighty-eight. Second, if the objects to be abandoned by the path of seeing are explained from the perspective of wrong entry, then who is the one who enters? What is the place of entry? What is the manner of entry? The one who enters is the near afflictions that arise in conjunction with the root afflictions, and the main mental factors and mind other than that, although they are infinite, if the main and similar ones are collected, there are ten, namely, desire, anger, pride, ignorance, doubt, view, supreme attachment, adherence to discipline and asceticism, wrong view, in short, the five non-views and the five views. The place of entry, although there are infinite clear distinctions, is the four truths. The manner of entry is in the Compendium: "For suffering and origin, they are also wrongly conceived by their cause and the place of their basis. All ten afflictions, for cessation and path, also enter into wrong views because they generate fear of them." This is the meaning of this. The meaning of this is that the common characteristic of the four truths, the emptiness of the self of the person, until it is directly realized, these ten will actually generate contaminated actions, and the previous ones of the same kind will generate the later ones, and the later ones will ripen and accomplish. Therefore, it will increase suffering.

Therefore, the two, suffering and origin, are the causes (of the arising of afflictions), and because these (afflictions) will increase by focusing on those two, those two also become the causes and basis of these ten (afflictions). When one realizes that the four truths are empty of self, then, because the effect of their mutual increase will cease, these ten (afflictions) enter into suffering and origin, because seeing the nature of those two will eliminate (afflictions). Similarly, if one does not see that the four truths are without self, then due to the joy of manifest attachment to samsara, one will perceive the cause and effect of liberation as a cliff and become afraid. When one sees (the four truths as without self), that fear also ceases through the means of eliminating the ten afflictions, therefore, (the practitioner) will fear the cessation and path, which are not places of fear, and thus the ten afflictions that are eliminated enter into those two. That is to be understood as three types of entry: direct, indirect, or by power. Among these, the first is the first two views and the last view, i.e., three views, and ignorance and doubt, i.e., two non-views, these five are direct entry into the truth. In order, they are respectively clinging to the truth as self and what belongs to self, clinging to the truth as permanent and impermanent, denying those aspects of the truth, or fabricating the aspects of the truth differently from what was said, being confused about the nature of the truth, and being indecisive about whether the truth is as it is said, because they perversely cling to the truth without the interference of other afflictions. In the Compendium of Topics, doubt is said to be the entry into the antidote, which refers to the fact that the four truths are the objects of the antidote. The second is the two (views of holding views as supreme, i.e., view of clinging to views and view of clinging to ethics and rituals) that hold views as supreme, and the two of desire and pride among non-views, these four are indirect entry. In order, they are respectively clinging to the views that enter directly as supreme, viewing bad conduct related to bad views as purification, liberation, and definite departure, bad views filling the mind, and craving for bad views, because there is interference from other objects between the truth and (afflictions), so they perversely focus on afflictions. The third is that anger and the like are entry by power, because they enter due to being controlled by the thought of being extremely tormented by views that are inconsistent with one's own views. The second is divided into two.
