The explanation that it is emptiness because its essence is emptiness and it is devoid of the essence of other dharmas, so it is the emptiness of the essence of others, is inconsistent with both the Sutras and the Great Commentary. In order to eliminate the harm of these three, the existence and non-existence of reality with the power of the non-entity of the sixteen emptinesses, and the nature of the entity, with the power of the existence and non-existence of reality, the twentieth and nineteenth are shown, and the last four are explained as the emptiness of the nature of non-entities. The reason why twenty wisdoms are determined in this way is that there are twenty object emptinesses. The reason why the object is determined is that it depends on the thought of turning the object to be tamed into a retinue, and not on abiding in reality. The reason why twenty emptinesses are taught is to cut off the manifest attachment to the twenty dharmas, and to show that the nature of the object does not exist. As for the difference of the dharmas, there is attachment to both more and less than this. Second, it is divided into general meaning and branch meaning. First, it is divided into three: the essence of the basis of difference, the arrangement of the place of the dharma of difference, and the definition of the place with difference. First, it is divided into two: the nature of reality and difference. The first is: the realization of the learner, which is possessed by the wisdom and great compassion that transcend the world, and which has become the basis of merit, is the essence of the place here. The second is: the basis of difference is only the place of the noble Bodhisattva. There are ten different aspects. The difference of division is the difference of things, that is, the cause and effect of before and after. The number is fixed because there are ten different purifications. As it is said in the Ornament of Realization: In the path of seeing and the path of meditation, the ten grounds, such as the Joyful Ground, are established by the difference of the dharma of purification. This is in terms of those with differences, but for ordinary people, there are also the Ground of Faith and the Ground of Adhimukti-caryā. Second, it is divided into seven: predominance, mundane qualities, the manner of taking birth, the realization of the antidote, the opposing qualities to be abandoned, the signs of attaining the ground, and the difference of the fruit. The first is: each of the ten grounds has the ten perfections in order of predominance, which is the one with difference. Each of them also practices everything, which is the one without difference. As it is said in the Middle Way Treatise: Difference and non-difference should be known in the ten grounds. This is the way to study the pāramitās.

Furthermore, the Ornament of the Sutras states: "Having well understood the nature of reality here, one trains in higher discipline, higher mind, and higher wisdom. Wisdom has two objects of practice: the suchness of dharma and that which is not known, known, etc., are the ways to enter." This shows the way of training in the first six grounds. As it says here, after realizing the nature of reality on the first ground, one trains in discipline on the second, in concentration on the third, and then in wisdom on the third ground. Moreover, on the fourth ground, one trains in the wisdom that is skilled in accordance with the favorable conditions, and on the fifth and sixth grounds, there are two objects of wisdom: the suchness of dharma, the four truths, and that which is not known, etc., which are ignorance and knowledge, respectively, in accordance with the law of dependent origination and not in accordance with it. Therefore, wisdom is also established on the second ground. The way in which the fruits of training in these three are accomplished on the remaining four grounds is also from the same text: "Abiding in the signless with activity is said to be the first fruit. That very nature manifest, without activity, and the field is completely pure, is considered the second fruit. The accomplishment of ripening sentient beings, and the accomplishment of concentrations and dharanis, is the supreme third fruit. These four kinds of fruits are truly based on the four grounds." This is the way of training in training. Furthermore, the same text also states: "Having well understood the nature of reality here, one trains in the aggregate of discipline. After that, one trains in concentration and the aggregate of wisdom. In the other grounds, one trains in liberation from the four kinds of obscurations and the obscuration of obstacles, and in the wisdom of liberation." This means that after realizing the nature of reality, which is the basis of the aggregates, on the first ground, one trains in discipline on the second, in concentration on the third, and in the aggregate of wisdom on the fourth, fifth, and sixth grounds. On the remaining four grounds, one trains in the four obstacles to the four fruits, and on the ground of Buddhahood, one trains in the obscuration of obstacles, thereby training in liberation and the wisdom of liberation in sequence. This is the way to train in the five uncontaminated aggregates. Secondly, on the first ground, one obtains one hundred and twelve qualities in an instant, that is, one obtains one hundred concentrations and enters into them, sees one hundred Buddhas, and knows their blessings, can shake one hundred worlds, and can also go to one hundred Buddha-fields.
