So. The following "etc." refers to adding each of the previously mentioned eight to the end of the birth-place and the formless, the birth-place and the right abandonment, and the form realm, etc., emptiness, the formless and the fearless, etc. It is very good that Kulanta extracted it from within. If so, the scripture's statement of the desire realm, etc., is incorrect. In the Ornament Manifestation, the word "etc." is added to everything, but below, the word "etc." is not present for the general, so it is not incorrect that the word "etc." appears there. Second, how do they focus? All the dharmas such as those previously mentioned are focused on in the order of realization, just as they are explained. How is that? First, a Bodhisattva has the thought of what is to be taken, what is to be abandoned, and what is to be left indifferent. In relation to that, the first three. Then, taking what is to be taken, one thinks of what is to be taken first and later, and contemplates the worldly path and the path beyond the world as two. Then, thinking of what is to be abandoned and what is the essence of the latter, one contemplates the two, with outflows and without outflows. Or, the first is with outflows, so it is a temporary object to be taken, and the second is without outflows, so one thinks it is a permanent object to be taken. Then, thinking of what is the object of that outflowless, one contemplates the two truths, the conventional truth of compounded things and the ultimate truth of uncompounded things. Then, abandoning the compounded, one meditates on the result of focusing on the uncompounded as two, common and uncommon. There is also a result of focusing on the compounded, but the noble beings are distinguished by the uncompounded, so its result is not shown. Its meaning is that the three noble ones are established in order by realizing a part, most, and all of the emptiness of the uncompounded. In the Clear Words, from the meaning of focusing in the order of realization, it is said that the self-view of focusing with attachment by the first and without attachment by the latter, and the other's view of thinking that the first focuses on virtue and the last focuses on power, is for that meaning, the latter is the view of the teacher. These are arranged according to the view of the Ornament Manifestation taken by the previous scholars. The third has three, the first is realizing such an object of focus.

To accomplish the support, what is the purpose of Bodhicitta? To indicate that, the purpose is explained. The connection of the Sutra is: Previously, the reason for the use of the word "Great Bodhisattva" was asked, and this is the answer. That is, in the context of lineage, it is Bodhisattva, and here the meaning of the word Great Bodhisattva is explained, with two refutations. The answer is also that the Bhagavan, Shariputra, and Subhuti explained the reason for the use of the word Great Bodhisattva, so they sequentially spoke of three greats. Whoever spoke of that reason spoke of the first two accomplishments. The second is: It should be known. Where does it arise from itself and become self-born, that is the purpose of the Bodhisattvas. Where is that? What should be especially strived for is the object of wanting true and complete enlightenment, the supreme nature of all sentient beings. What is that like? It should be accomplished with three greats. What are the three? Mind, renunciation, and realization. Among them, the great mind is: like a vajra, etc. Great renunciation is: teaching the Dharma for the sake of abandoning all views. Great realization is: not being attached to Bodhicitta, etc. This is the view of Moonlight and the one with purity. In this way, after the three greats are done by the Bodhisattva, the supreme nature wants the Great Buddha. The third is: It should be known that there are three kinds of purposes. The reason for dividing into three is: because it has three greats. For whose purpose is it? For the Bodhisattvas themselves, who are named Self-born Buddhas because they arise there in all aspects of the stages of the path, in a way that fully knows how to obtain omniscience. Bodhisattva, Considering the attainment of the qualities of the Buddha, therefore, both the Buddha and the two are said to be self-born, and "in all aspects" is used to explain the non-discriminating mind that walks in all for the Shravakas, etc., and the abandonment of afflictions and habitual tendencies, and because there is no knowledge of subtle things limited by objects and time, there are no three greats, so understand, this is what the Lamp Explanation says. The reason for becoming that purpose is all sentient beings' aggregates and the great assembly of sentient beings.
