Without self and unattainable, so it is said. The suppression of "I" should also be understood for the following ones. The second is: I, the unparalleled one; the third is: I, the cause that opens the door of consciousness; the fourth is: I, the clinging to the substance from the seer to the knower. The basis of confusion for these three is, in order, the three: aggregates, sources, and realms. The fifth is: I, all the three afflictions from ignorance to old age and death; the sixth is: I, being free from desire from the lower realms by means of worldly meditation and the path of the formless realm; the seventh is: I, the path of directly seeing the characteristics of the four truths; the eighth is: I, the meditation path that has become the nature of those who dwell in the ultimate liberation; the ninth is: I, the clinging to the substance of the basis of the no-more-learning path where the meaning or need of learning that thoroughly has been accomplished. Among these, the first four are clinging to the nature of self, and the rest are clinging in relation to self, that is, the fifth clings to all afflictions, the sixth clings to the world, and the rest cling to the basis of purification that transcends the world. In short, it is clinging to the basis of all afflictions and purification as something that has become merely a substance of dharma. These nine clingings are taught in the sutras from the perspective of not observing the object, in the manner of a remedy. That is also as stated in the "Sunlight Sutra": The examination of valid cognition, as well as the meaning of aggregates, sources, realms, dependent origination, being free from desire from the lower realms, directly seeing the truth, and the meditation that is directly realized by the body, etc., were successively taught as the remedies for the first eight clingings, but the remedy for the last one was not taught. The second is the person, that is, the clinging one. If the clinging to the basis of the nominally existent is classified, there are nine types, that is, from the aspect of clinging to the nine objects. What are the nine objects? The first is the aggregates of form, etc., as stated in the Diamond Sutra: Subhuti, what do you think? Is form different from me, and is illusion also different from me? Are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness also different from me, and is illusion also different from me? He replied: No, World Honored One. So it is said. The second is the sources of the eye, etc., the third is the eighteen realms such as the realm of form, the fourth is m

Twelve links of dependent origination and so on are wisdom. The fifth is the purification of the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. The sixth is the path of seeing the nature of the three doors of liberation. The seventh is the path of meditation in the formless realms. The eighth is the superior path of realizing emptiness, surpassing the Hearers and others. The ninth is the path of no more learning, such as the powers. The first four are illusions of karma, and the rest are mere designations created by illusions of wisdom. That is, the sources of birth, realms, dependent origination, the thirty-seven dharmas, the three liberations, the formless meditations, emptiness, the powers up to non-mixing, etc., do you think that they are illusions to others and also another kind of illusion? Thus, it is said that all of these are mere designations without substance, so it is taught in the sutras from the perspective of the objects shown. The way of clinging to it is to cling to the clinging of mere designation. Fourth is like what was said before. There are three in the third. The first is that the upholder is taught in the interruption of the entry and cessation of conceptualization with a single gap. If so, since it contradicts the summary and the order, should it also be taught before conceptualization in the detailed explanation? The necessity of teaching the upholder before conceptualization in the summary is to be in accordance with the verse of the summary of the object aspect, that is, for the sake of easy combination. Thus, the necessity of teaching it at the end in the detailed explanation is that the object aspect, the three causes, and the conceptualization, etc., which were previously mentioned, become distinguishing dharmas because of the power of that upholder. Also, the former is to welcome the nature of doubt and take it from the opponent, while the latter not only has the necessity of being said first in the summary. The second is that the noble one connects the first and last lines as skillful means, and connects the second and last lines as virtuous friends, and the third is that it shows the non-common qualities of both, so it is said to be the difference between the two. Among them, skillful means are fear, trembling, and extreme trembling, which are the antidotes to the three fears of small, medium, and large, because the mind is not timid, truly not timid, and the cause of not turning into true timidity, possessing the all-knowing attention. In the five aggregates, in impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, peace, solitude, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, etc. not
