Eh. In the Don Sal, it says that the second case has six, namely, non-leaking and leaking, and non-leaking three, and again non-leaking and leaking and non-leaking three, a total of six. The third case has nine. The fourth case has twelve. The fifth case has fifteen, which should also be combined in the same way. It is said so, and it is also the same in where to expand. Then, the rest should also be tripled, because there is no difference in the way of expanding. If one can triple, will one be able to expand all? In the Don Sal, it says that the first case has three minds, that is, that person has that much ability, and the following cases should also be said in the same way. As it is said, just like in the usual case, each can be tripled, etc., each part can be expanded, but others cannot be expanded, so there is no fault. Among them, the cause of being born in the Pure Abode is leaking, because non-leaking can cut off existence. Regarding the meaning of leaking and non-leaking, all the old and new commentators believe that between the two states of Samadhi non-leaking Suchness, it is the expansion of the subsequent attainment leaking peaceful and rough states, which is not obvious in the meaning of Abhidharma. Because in the main practice of meditation, there is no mention of peaceful and rough states anywhere, and it cannot be obtained by reason either. Because viewing the upper and lower grounds as peaceful and rough is the path to overcome the lower ground, and the main practice leaking is the abandonment path, these two are contradictory. Because the lower ground has already been overcome by the near-absorption, just like a brick cannot come out of a wall, because it is leaking, it cannot overcome its own ground and the upper ground. Therefore, the leaking here is only the purity of worldly virtue. The second is going to the Peak of Existence, that is, experiencing the taste of all Samadhis, being born in the Great Fruit Heaven, abandoning the Pure Abode, gradually being born in the Formless Realm, and then transcending to the Peak of Existence. Although this does not belong to the nine Approaching Form, it is Approaching Form, because its meaning is not transcending by relying on the support of form, but being born there from the desire realm. If it is said that if it is not certain that the Lower Realm and going to the Peak of Existence will go to those two places, then what is the nature of these four Upper Transferences? For the three Superiors, sequentially taking two, three, and four Form Realm existences and being born.

The Pure Abodes and, going to the Peak of Existence is not certain to go to the Peak of Existence, but it is thought that one must die in the support of the Formless Realm. Secondly, by the power of the exhaustion of the accumulation of form, one does not go to the Form Realm from here, but takes birth in the Formless Realm. Here, there is no intermediate state in birth, so there is death as soon as one is born, and there are four kinds of actions: with action, without action, and upward transference. As it says in the Treasury: Others, the formless goers, are four. If one asks whether these distinctions also apply to those who do not return to the desire realm, the answer is no, as it says in the Treasury: The noble one who has completely transformed life in the desire realm, does not go to another realm. Therefore, the meaning of the non-returner who has transformed life in the desire realm is that one obtains either of the first two fruits in the first life, and then becomes a non-returner in the second life. This is what the King's Son said. Like this, dying in that life, and transforming life in the Form Realm to go to the Peak of Existence, one also goes to another realm, the Formless Realm, as it says in the Self-Commentary. Regarding the exceptions where these distinctions do not apply, the Treasury Commentary says: Because only that one is mentioned, for the non-returner who has previously abandoned attachment, these distinctions do not apply to those who have abandoned attachment before the Path of Seeing or earlier, but it is thought that they apply to other situations. If one dies without abandoning the afflictions of that realm and ground, one will be born there, and because one jumps over without abandoning the afflictions of the two upper realms, it is impossible to become a non-returner, and it is also not certain that they will die in the support of the desire realm. It is said that these distinctions apply to those who practice gradually. Thirdly, if one asks whether the five who nearly go to the Form Realm and the four who nearly go to the Formless Realm rely on the support of the desire realm or the upper realms, the Treasury says: There are nine who nearly go to form, the distinctions of those have been explained, from the distinctions of karma, power, and afflictions. This distinguishes the three kinds of death in the intermediate state, death after birth, and jumping, through the aspects of karma, power, and afflictions. In order, merely manifesting accomplishment, and experiencing the result after birth, and the karma of experiencing the result in other times is the first distinction. The sharpness, medium, and dullness of the faculties is the second. The small, medium, and large to be abandoned is the third. In the first two sets of three, there is no distinction of karma, but there is a distinction of faculties and afflictions.
