This body is a dharma, because the karma of leading is evil in the past, so it has unpleasant ripening. These signs mentioned above, based on which the accomplished ripening can be established, these desires and dislikes are established by the fact that good and bad karma are in the past, although it is established by direct perception. However, the act of giving alms and keeping the precepts today, the result of happiness arising in the future, is extremely hidden. Just as the difference in the body in the afternoon, such as prostration, etc., although it is established that the body in the morning is in the past. However, at the time of the morning, that person cannot establish such a difference in the body in the afternoon. Accumulating karma also requires craving to be in the past, so this clinging aggregate is a dharma, because the craving to obtain the object is in the past, not being driven involuntarily by Isvara etc., but taking birth in the womb of an impure place. It is established by the reason that Isvara is not the driver, but Isvara is the preventer. Such karma and affliction are dharma, the cause of suffering, because it is the helper of it. It is the origin, because it arises again and again. It is the superior birth, because it gives rise to strength. It is a condition, because it is the basis of it, and it arises continuously after birth. Having a continuous birth is known from the sign of establishing the former and later births, which is also the newly produced consciousness is a dharma, because the previous consciousness of clinging is in the past, because it is consciousness. For example, now there is an increase in suffering.

According to the first view, is each atom sufficient, or is it necessary for all to be assembled as the cause? The first view is unreasonable, because just like eye consciousness, it would clearly grasp form. The second view is unreasonable, because the senses each have the definite ability to generate consciousness that grasps different objects. If the initial non-existent body is the proximate cause, then is it an atom or a substance of limbs? According to the first view, is each atom sufficient, or is it necessary for all to be assembled as the cause? According to the first view, many mental conceptions would arise simultaneously, and according to the second view, like the atoms of a finger, even if empty, they would not arise. It is unreasonable for the substance of limbs to be the proximate cause, because that is impossible. That also has three contradictions: relying on action, relying on seeing, and relying on qualities. For example, when the hand moves and the other parts of the body do not move, it is obvious that the limbs on the other parts of the body do not move, so the two aspects of moving and not moving are contradictory. If it is said that moving and not moving exist on the limbs, but not on the one with limbs, then on the hand, this obvious thing composed of the atoms of the moving limbs, and the limbs that exist without moving, must each be established separately at the same time. Similarly, the remaining two should also be applied in the same way. If consciousness is the proximate cause, then it must be either held by one's own continuum or held by another's continuum. If another's consciousness is the proximate cause, then the consciousness of the parents must be taken as the proximate cause, so it must be admitted that if the parents are skilled at making, the son is also skilled at making, etc., is inevitable. Therefore, it is inevitably established that the previous wisdom of one's own continuum is the proximate cause. Similarly, it should also be applied to proving future lives. If the distinction "previous life exists" is added, an example cannot be found. Thus, when it is seen that arising is the producer of suffering, and that self-grasping can be refuted by reason, it is seen that suffering can be stopped. Thus, by the power of cultivating the antidote, suffering ceases, this is Dharma, it is cessation, because it is the separation from abandoning suffering. It is peace, because it is the separation from abandoning afflictions. It is excellent, because it is the supreme separation from what is desired. It is definite emergence, because it is a Dharma that does not regress.
