It is not so. Because the shadow dark part of the lamp bowl and the light bright part of the lamp, the two are closely connected without any other tangible object in between, which is obvious. Tangible objects must exist after contact, rather than one tangible object suppressing the position of another tangible object to exist. If merely being close becomes contact, then think about it, what would be the reaction of dust if you dug out your own eyeballs and eyelashes? On that basis where the light actually pervades, light and darkness cannot meet in any instant, because on that basis, the generation of light and the disappearance of darkness pervade simultaneously. If it is certain, then things like hot and cold exist as what is harmed and what can harm in a way that they cannot coexist for a long time, which is the contradiction of not being able to coexist constantly. And light and darkness, the generation of the eliminator's light and the disappearance of the eliminated darkness pervade simultaneously, therefore, they cannot coexist even for a single moment of time. This is the contradiction of not being able to coexist in time, not the contradiction established merely in the way of not being able to coexist constantly. Like light and darkness, the antidote uninterrupted path of the path of abandonment and its actual seed of abandonment are also the contradiction of not being able to coexist in time, not in constant time. For this reason, in the commentary on the Root Wisdom Treatise, The Ocean of Reason, it says: "The way of not being able to coexist is not like hot and cold in a way that they cannot coexist for a long time, but like light and darkness, they cannot coexist in time, therefore, the antidote flawless uninterrupted path and its two to be abandoned will not exist simultaneously on one continuum." It is said that the way my supreme omniscient one approves is like this, and this itself is perfectly established by the holy teachings and correct reasoning.
