Likewise. Memory is memory itself. For example, memory, desire, and hatred, etc., are not other valid cognitions for objects previously cognized. Thus it is said. According to the translation of the commentary, it is also not repeatedly recognizing. And, in the self-commentary, it is also evident that: if it is not recognized once, then recognition is not a valid cognition. When explaining its meaning, the commentary explains the way to bring out the power of the word "again," which is very good. In this way, the translation here is: not recognizing once, means recognizing again. What it actually shows is that the valid cognition of seeing the difference as mentioned above is what the other party said. And what the word "again" in "again and again knowing is also not" shows is like the mind that ascertains impermanence, which is drawn by the power of measuring the impermanence of the last moment of the flow of color by direct perception. Therefore, the previous root commentary showed that understanding the impermanence of color from the sign of being made is inference. And the word "again" in this later root commentary shows that after the previous valid cognition measured the impermanence of color, remembering the impermanence of color is not a valid cognition. Therefore, in the commentary, it is said: repeatedly recognizing is also not, which means that taking recognition as a result, that consciousness that sees the difference is not a valid cognition. And, the meaning of the word "again" is that for the things taken by direct perception alone, again holding that color etc. is impermanent, that holding is also not a valid cognition, thus it is explained. Explaining in this way seems to be in accordance with the intention of the author of the Commentary on Valid Cognition. On this, here, when explaining in detail by analyzing the meaning of the sutra in this way, the meaning of the previous sutra, root commentary, and the later word "again" are treated as one part, and made as an answer to "if the object to be measured is certain, then color will not be understood as impermanent." It is explained from "this fault" to "sound is also the basis of contradiction." That is, does the one who says that understanding the impermanence of color is the third valid cognition want to understand it in this way from the sign of being made, etc.? Or does he think that the conceptual thought caused by the power of measuring the impermanence of color by direct perception is like remembering the impermanence of color? If it is the former, because it is inference, it is other

It is said, "It is not reasonable for the third pramana." Grasping is the intention here. Up to this point, if according to the second statement, because it is analytical wisdom, the answer is that it is not a pramana. "Because of grasping what is grasped as other." And so on. The root text of the Sutra and the later commentaries directly show the third pramana that prevents seeing the special meaning. "Because each moment is different." And so on. Regarding this, knowing that color is impermanent from the sign is the third pramana. In prevention, there are two analyses from the direct and indirect meanings. The direct one is: Knowing that color is impermanent from the sign of being made is the third pramana that measures the mixture of self and general characteristics, so there is no fault of losing the certainty of number here, because the general meaning of color is combined with the general meaning of impermanence as a characteristic, and the inference that makes it the object to be taken is a pramana. In this way, one will enter and obtain the general characteristic, but one will not enter and obtain the self-characteristic. If so, the object to be taken by the inference pramana that knows that color is impermanent from the sign of being made is the general characteristic, but for the object to be measured that has become a direct pramana, it is not a general characteristic that has become the nature of non-entity, because the way of grasping of that inference is that the color itself is grasped as impermanent after complete observation. In this way, for things, also through establishing the way of color being impermanent, it is a pramana that establishes or measures the self-characteristic of color being impermanent. It is unreasonable to establish the self-characteristic by grasping the general characteristic, because for other general characteristics, it is not establishing other self-characteristics. If so, the answer to this is: By taking the general meaning of color being impermanent as the object to be taken, there is no fault of not understanding the self-characteristic of color being impermanent, because it is necessary to definitely understand that through that way. If it is written like this, that is understood through that way, because that is what is relied upon through that way, so it will not be good. Therefore, it is like this, the object to be taken of that inference itself is the general characteristic, but there is no fault of not obtaining the self-characteristic of color being impermanent from that, because what appears to oneself is mistakenly considered to be the self-characteristic of color being impermanent, and one enters by clinging to that self-characteristic. The appearance itself is not deceiving because of the connection established indirectly with the self-characteristic of color being impermanent.\\ Then the object to be measured of the inference itself
