The obstruction, that is, what is abandoned, and the knowledge that is unobstructed with respect to what is abandoned, is considered the power of knowing the exhaustion of the immeasurable outflows. "Quickly" means that the extremely subtle remaining habitual imprints are shown to be abandoned by the wisdom of the Buddha in a single moment. Here, the habitual imprints of afflictions, as stated in the commentary: "Whatever taints and instructs the mind's continuum, and follows it, that is the habitual imprint. The culmination of afflictions, familiarity, root, and habitual imprint are different names." It is said that although Hearers and Solitary Realizers have abandoned afflictions, they cannot abandon these habitual imprints. Also, in the same text, it says: "For them, the habitual imprint of ignorance is an obstacle to completely cutting off what is to be known." Thus, it is also called the obscuration of knowledge. According to this system, the clinging to the self of phenomena is considered an affliction. Therefore, the main part of the obscuration of knowledge must be the habitual imprint of the illusion of dualistic appearance. Since the noble fathers and sons (Asanga and Vasubandhu) have not clearly stated the identification of the obscuration of knowledge elsewhere, one should firmly rely on what is said here. Also, in the commentary, it says: "The habitual imprints of ignorance and desire, etc., only cease in the All-Knowing One and the Buddha, but not in others." Therefore, the afflictive seeds said to be exhausted from the eighth ground onwards for Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Arhats, are not the same as the habitual imprints of afflictions described here. These extremely subtle habitual imprints are simultaneous with the arising of the uninterrupted path of the tenth ground continuum, which tends towards the arising and the extremely subtle cessation. The path of liberation that initially abandons it is the first moment of the Buddha's wisdom. Therefore, it is said that it is destroyed by the power of the All-Knowing One. Thus, it is said that all knowable things are known by the powers in manifestation. Since the Buddha's direct perception cannot be understood by inference, it must be known by appearance. Moreover, it is not the system of this view to know without the appearance of aspects, as clearly explained in the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning. Therefore, it is also not the case that measuring the present directly also measures the past and future by implication. This is like the sun today, at this present time.

Regarding that, since there is no past and future, even if those two are not measured at that time, however, it is not contradictory that the wisdom itself that knows the present time knows all past and un-past things. For example, the sprout of the seed time, the seed does not produce, but it is not contradictory that the seed produces the sprout. Third, all the qualities of the Buddha, even if the Buddha himself blesses his life for countless kalpas, and speaks quickly without exceeding other activities, will not make the qualities complete, then what do the Bodhisattvas say? Therefore, what need is there to mention whether the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas are able to fully understand or speak of the qualities? Explaining this meaning from the perspective of analogy: Just like a bird with wide wings soaring in the sky, using the power of the wind to overwhelm the other, when flying in the sky, the sky will not disappear or be exhausted, so it will not prevent the ruler of the bird, but here, because flying and flying here, one day it will exhaust its own power and return. Similarly, the disciples Hearers and the Solitary Buddhas together with them, and the sons of the Buddha who dwell on the great earth, even if they return without finishing speaking of the Buddha's qualities as boundless as the sky, it is not because the qualities are complete, but because their own power of wisdom has declined. Because it is impossible to fully describe the qualities of the Buddha, therefore, commentators like me, how much can we know and how much can we say about these qualities of the Buddha? In fact, it is impossible. In this way, even if I do not know the qualities of the Buddha by my own power, however, I have spoken a little bit of merit without doubt, because those merits are spoken by the noble Nagarjuna, and it is based on him. Fourth, in short, in this treatise, the qualities of the Buddha show both profound and vast, the profound is the emptiness Dharmakaya, and the emptiness of the basis and the path. Apart from that, explaining the qualities and powers of the eleven grounds, etc., are vast qualities. Because of well understanding the principle of such profound and vast qualities, that meaning both
