In the realm of the Buddha, there is both the wisdom of equipoise (mnyam gzhag) and the wisdom of subsequent attainment (rjes thob). The Ratnagotravibhāga states: "Wisdom, jñāna, and liberation, for the sake of clarity, radiance, and purity, and because there is no difference, are like light and rays, like the solar disc." In the commentary on this verse, it says that for the supramundane non-conceptual wisdom possessed by the Buddha's lineage, in order to dispel the darkness of the suchness of knowable objects, it has the same nature as clear light. What is obtained after that, the wisdom of all knowable objects, because it pervades all aspects of all knowable objects, has the same nature as the radiating network of light rays. This is what is said. Supramundane non-conceptualization is equipoise, and this is established in relation to suchness, which means suchness, ultimate reality, and so on. The meaning of "after" in "subsequent attainment" is not the "after" of the temporal sequence of arising from equipoise, but rather the meaning of being obtained or arising through the power of that equipoise. The meaning of "knowable objects" and so on is that the wisdom of subsequent attainment is established through pervading all that is knowable. Therefore, it is not knowing the nature of things as they are in relation to phenomena, nor is it knowing the extent of things in relation to the nature of reality. If one can understand this meaning well, then "Devoid of the nature examined by the two truths, all that appears in this way, all that arises in dependence, is directly seen by the all-knowing one." And, "When the knower, the known, and self are not seen, then because signs do not arise, one does not arise because of the stability of abiding." Thus, the Buddha directly knows all appearances, and it is also said that in the manner of duality, neither the knower nor the known is seen. Other great beings have also said similar things. Not seeing either the knower or the known refers to the Buddha's self-appearance, while directly seeing all knowable objects refers to the way of knowing the other-appearance of those to be tamed. Therefore, there is no need to say that the Buddha's realm does not contain wisdom, but rather to know that the single wisdom, in relation to two objects, produces two different ways of knowing, and there is no contradiction whatsoever. So, are all things true and false?

The nature of the two truths is shown by "seeing," etc. If it is thought that these two establishments are contradictory, they are not contradictory, because the previously stated nature of the two truths refers to the general situation, while the way of knowing of the Buddha's wisdom refers to the tenth bhumi and below, which is an uncommon special case. Therefore, if the Buddha's way of knowing is also summarized, then it is obtained by the valid cognition of the wisdom that sees reality, and the object is the valid cognition of wisdom, which is the nature of the ultimate truth, and from this, the nature of the conventional truth should also be known. Similarly, through the wisdom that knows as it is obtained, and the object becomes the wisdom that knows as it is, and through the wisdom that knows as many as there are obtained, and the object becomes the way of knowing as many as there are, for each object, the way of knowing conventional and ultimate should also be known. Here, one should also remember the self-view of the debate on whether self-awareness is reasonable or not that was done before. Second, there are two: the actual meaning and directly showing its rationality. The first is: In any case, according to your view, if there is no knower, who will tell other trainees, "Such is the reality"? To what is said, it must also be answered: Although it is true that the wisdom of measuring reality in the Buddha-field becomes one with the ultimate truth that is unborn by nature, it is not impossible to realize reality in the world. How is that? The meaning of this debate is that if one constantly abides in the manner of being one with reality, then there is no speaker with the motivation of teaching the Dharma, and if there is no speaker, then there is no teaching, because from below it is said that even without conceptualization, teaching is a reasonable answer. To this debate, it must also be answered: The form body in which the Buddhas abide and manifest the Dharmadhatu Dharmakaya, that form body of the Buddha is possessed by hundreds of thousands of accumulations of merit, that is, the inconceivable various forms that are manifested and accumulated, becoming the cause of the enjoyment of the Dharma of the Bodhisattvas.
