The six skillful means are: Bodhisattvas view all sentient beings with compassion; they know the true nature of all phenomena as they are; they desire the wisdom of unsurpassed enlightenment; they do not abandon samsara by relying on the view of sentient beings; they revolve in samsara with a non-afflicted mind by relying on knowing phenomena as they are; and they blaze with diligence by relying on the desire for Buddhahood. The six skillful means based on maturing external sentient beings are: Bodhisattvas transform the small roots of virtue of sentient beings into immeasurable fruits; similarly, they accomplish great roots of virtue with little effort; they pacify the anger of those who are hostile to the teachings; they introduce those who are hesitant about the teachings into them; they mature those who have entered; and they liberate those who have matured. These are the twelve skillful means. In the extensive commentary on Entering the Middle Way, Clarifying the Intent, the explanation of the seventh ultimate bodhicitta. The second part has three points: how to generate superior aspirations and overcome obstacles on this ground; showing that all afflictions have been exhausted; showing that the ten powers have been obtained. The first point is: The seventh-ground Bodhisattva enters the eighth immovable ground, which is where the Bodhisattva becomes irreversible, in order to obtain more excellent merits than before. For this, the great Bodhisattva enters it. How, then, can one repeatedly obtain more excellent merits than before, from the seventh ground downwards? The Ten Bhumi Sutra states: "O sons of the Victorious Ones, just as a great ship going to the great ocean must be intentionally propelled and sailed until it reaches the great ocean. Once it reaches the great ocean, it will be propelled by the wheel of the wind and will sail without having to be intentionally propelled. Therefore, the distance that can be reached in the great ocean in one day cannot be reached in a hundred years by intentionally propelling and sailing. O sons of the Victorious Ones, similarly, the Bodhisattva who has accumulated a vast collection of roots of virtue and who also practices the Great Vehicle correctly, the Bodhisattva's

Having entered the ocean of merit, with the spontaneously accomplished wisdom, in a brief moment, the omniscient wisdom that is attained, that is, previously, in order to accomplish the task, even in a million kalpas, it is not possible to attain such an inconceivable wisdom as its number. As it is said. Among them, before entering the sea, it is an example of the seventh ground and below. Entering the sea and walking is an example of obtaining the eighth ground and walking the path. This eighth-ground Bodhisattva, when he first aroused the transcendental mind, the ten great vows and countless hundreds of thousands of great vows that he made, are very pure in this ground, and the perfection of vows is most enhanced in this ground. This ground is established as the youthful ground, the ninth ground obtains the throne, and the tenth ground, like a Chakravartin, the Buddhas empower him. When the immovable ground enters the cessation of nature, the Buddhas also urge him to arise from the cessation. As the tenth ground sutra says: 'O sons of the Buddhas, thus abiding in this immovable ground, the Bodhisattva, born of the power of past vows, abiding in the stream of the Dharma, the Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, accomplish the Tathagata's wisdom for him, and thus tell him: Well done! Well done! Good man! This is the true and supreme patience that follows the enlightenment of the Buddhadharma. However, good man, you do not have the complete and unique Buddhadharma such as our ten powers and four fearlessnesses. In order to completely seek the Buddhadharma, you should diligently strive and not abandon this door of patience. Good man, although you have attained the liberation of abiding in peace, you should think of the unpacified ordinary people, the various afflictions that appear, and the various distractions that distract the mind.' Also, good man, remember the vows of the past, and the things that benefit sentient beings, and the inconceivable gate of wisdom. Also,
